My car is 2016 340i xdrive,is there a way to take dtc and dsc off without taking the car out of sport mode.
when i turn them off all the way, Idrive says steering and suspension are in sport, but not throttle and trans.

I’m not sure if I understanding your question correctly but you don’t want to be in Sport+ but you do want to completely turn off DTC and DSC?

As far as I know your transmission will only go to sport when you move the lever to sport and throttle should be in sport when you select drive mode sport or sport+

no matter what mode i start out in, taking off DTC and DSC completely,
puts it in a mode with only, steering and suspension in sport mode, throttle and
trans will be comfort mode.

I have also noticed this, i have tried different set up options in the i-Drive but to no joy, why does it do this ?. Do you have the active suspension or the stock sport suspension?.

You cannot run all Sport settings (exhaust burble, sport throttle) with DSC off. Only sport transmission by putting the shifter to the left. Its terrible I hate it.

maybe some coder can code it out.
