Hard shifts with Map 1 and above -
03-08-2020, 06:30 PM
I've only had my JB4 for a short time on my 2017 Raptor but I have a problem with the transmission every time I change from Map 0 onward. I start having HARD shifts that almost seem like slipping between gears 1-3 and 6-8. I've jumped between Map 1 and Map 3 and I get the same effect. When I move back to Map 0 the problem goes away. 40K miles and runs on 93 octane regularly.
Have you encountered this problem before or know of a way to fix it? I like the gains I get but the hard shifting I can't handle.
Thanks in advance.

Are you on update firmware?
Is your OBD2 plugged in correctly?

Attached are logs from Map 1 and 3. I'm hoping it's not something with the transmission as I've seen problems with it on this forum.

Every once in a while I notice a hard shift but it's irregular. Are you in sport mode? That seems to shift more abruptly.
When you post logs, upload the actual log to this site, nobody will click on links due to concerns with those.
