F22 acting strange after flash with PUMPe10 map -
07-20-2021, 11:20 AM
So I recently switched from running e30 RACE map to 94 octane pump gas. I flashed the pump map and instantly noticed strange behaviour with the car. I’ve gotten a transmission code 0xCF20C1 twice now and I’ve also got this thing that happens if I’m cruising in 8th gear and I give it half throttle and the car starts to stutter. This morning I did the same thing and it felt like the car start building building to much boost because the diverter valve kicked in and started going nuts. I flashed back to stock and reflashed PUMP and same thing. Any ideas would be appreciated

So I’m assuming it’s gas that is causing me all the trouble. Did a log and now I see how bad the timing has gotten. I’m running in map 5 today and it seems to be doing better now

Yes, timing is in the toilet, how does it run on map 0?

Runs perfect on zero the last two days. Haven’t been able to do any logs but no more hesitations. It’s hilarious because when it happens it felt like the car died for a few seconds then takes off. Spools a bunch of boost then just dumps it. Thought something was wrong for sure

Post a map 0 log, could be bad fuel as less boost will require less octane and timing won't be affected as much.

Timing improved...I'd say it's likely poor fuel/low octane.

I decided to run another tank of e30 today and as soon as I filled it up the was good again. Yes it runs fine on map 0 and has no hesitations but it runs amazing on map 7 with e30. Any suggestions for how long the car can sit without use with e30 in the tank?
