I've replaced the oil pan gasket, oil filter housing, and rear main seal and this leak persists. Has anyone experienced a tiny oil leak in this area?

Thats not the oil pan thats leaking. I'm not sure what the part is called but its kind of similar to the upper oil pan on my brothers VW.

There is a diagram that shows the block and the lower piece that bolts to the block, then the oil pan bolts to that piece and maybe to the block as well.

That would be the bedplate/girdle what ever you wish to call it. The gasket there is injected. It's not something you really want tot try and fix yourself. To do so you need to remove the oil pan and then the bedplate and scrape (or chemical) remove the old gasket and then put it all back together and inject the new gasket (anaerobic).
