Default 27.9 Map 6 and Map 3 and Wedgeperformance flash - 11-23-2013, 01:32 PM

All I can say is this combo is freaky fast!

Wedge performance flash gives you gobs of torque and then you couple that with Terry's new 27.9 firmware you have a record breaker. As we know on map 3 a while back was great but you had to wait for flow before building boost...now the boost just shoots up and goes crazy! With the wedgeperformance flash you grab RPMS VERY fast, when car hits 3000+ it is game over! I am having a hard time keeping car straight. In the logs below I was fishtailing up to the middle of 3rd .

Note: you have to have proper mods, octane to run his flash, nearly 15 degrees of timing.

Map 6 logs: (0n the 18psi log I was only at 45% dutycycle.)

Map 3 log (this is a 60 add because of the aggressive timing 80 add was way to much, tried a 70 add and could not keep car from going sideways...so whats the point LOL!!)

Where can we find this Wedge performance flash?

Is this a replacement for Terry's backend flash?

Have you tried this flash with ISO19? I found the boost build is killer fast with ISO19, but I haven't tried 27.9 to be fair.

ISO 19 would have more lag if using meth since it does not have the meth safety changes. You would have to wait for flow before building boost.

Wedge I might hit you up for the flash... Only downside for me is I couldn't run it often since I don't always have E85. I'm currently doing the BMS Race flash and daily driving map 1 then switching to map 3 if I want more power and meth or map 7 if I grab E85.

On another note, Rob did you use one of the new future use settings to disable the JB4 waiting for meth to build boost or is it something that changed on the flash side?

I could run it. I just don't think it really would do me any good since I have E85. I am already capping my boost not because of timing, but because of the stock turbos. Been running 17.5 psi for 60,000 miles. Don't really want to run them harder since I can hear them before the car gets warmed up.

Would love to see the flash though. I have my own flash, but its really just fuel economy changes. Once the new clutch breaks in I will maybe throw some more timing at it.

I am using FUB = 2 "spray and pray" with HSF-4.

It's aggressive but looks to be running strong. JB4 + back end flash FTW.

I'd probably stay with map 3 (so you at least have the SAP safety) and then maybe lower additive a bit further.

Lower it? Ran 20 down to 18 for a year but with less aggressive timing lol! I will try that...I can't raise it because I can't get traction lol! Yes, JB4 + flash = X 10

I would personally. It all depends on your risk tolerance.
