Bank O2 sensors affecting opposite trums -
09-28-2020, 04:56 AM
On the single turbo firmware when I pull bank 1 O2 sensor bank 2 fuel trims are affected/ pegged and stay ar 25 but bank 1 fuel trims are still working and fluctuating like normal.
and vice verser. When I remove bank 2 O2 sensor bank 1 fuel trims are affected/pegged at 25 not moving.
Car runs fine.
idles perfect, wot perfect, port injection perfect ect.
When I swap the O2 banks over so bank 1 afr refers to bank 1 trims it wont idle properly. The trims on bank 1 and 2 go opposite rich and lean and ecu goes into a closed loop idle and it throws pre and post *** codes.
Even if I reflash and reset o2 adaptions it will not idle and goes into closed loop after 15 seconds or so.
Why are bank 1 O2 sensor AFR controlling bank 2 trims?
Why when I change the bank 1 and 2 O2 sensor bungs so they correlate to the correct bank they act like they are in the wrong bank.?
Why is bank 1 afr refer to bank 2 fuel trims?
Why are they backwards?
Car runs fine in all operation its just strange that the bank 1 afr is for bank 2 fuel trims and bank 2 afr is bank 1 fuel trim.
