If they can make a fully built 6HP21 to handle 800ftlb now that the TCU is cracked I might just go this route instead of a DCT swap.
WORLD'S FASTEST 535i - 60': 1.62 1/8: 7.2@98.3 1/4: 11.2@124.6 (@ 23psi only)
1/2: 151.2 (no boost in 4th or 5th bad TMAP)
Hexon RR700s/JB4/Trebila BEF/BMS Meth/MFactory LSD/Fuel-It Stage 2/ADE Port Injection/Full E85/ VRSF Inlets/VRSF ***/VTT Outlets/Custom 3.5" single exhaust/VRSF CP/Tial BOV/Rev9 FMIC/RB PCV fix kit/ RaceStar Dark Star 17" & 15" wheels/Custom 15" brake setup
Future: Lots more to come...stay tuned!

Nizpro have cracked the TCU. The smaller 6HP21 has been developed alongside the larger 6HP26 for a couple of years now from my understanding. As the local Ford 4.0lt Turbo cars keep them busy the electronic side was left for others in the background to run with. That didn't transpire so Nizpro had to take it on.
Eagerly waiting on theri official release of the trans flash which will let us hold more power with faster shifts and better clamping pressure on the clutches. The Ford trans history here in Oz had them breaking transmission components once the flash was available. No doubt we will see the same thing with our cars and require the billet goodies and specially developed Nizpro clutches.
Eager to see what figures Nizpro come up with as they break their 6HP21 in the name of science.

Very cool- I would add- if your trans is already having issues, slipping etc, I highly doubt this will be your saving grace/fix.
I assume that this will be great for guys with a healthy AT

DVO-0208--No matter how is your tranny you have to upgrade the tranny to make power.
Clutches ,etc,etc....I will go to E-bay and get me an AT for $800 or $1,000 with low mileage
and upgrade the whole tranny. Main is closed to 77,000 miles ..

Upgrade how? As far as I know there are no upgraded hard parts or clutches available for 6HP19/21.

You'd have to buy them from Nizpro.

In US dollars are current exchange rates you are looking at $6150.00 dollars plus freight. This price does not include the torque convertor, we would be recommending leaving the standard convertor unless it was faulty, which is very unusual.

+1 on the shipping issue, i hope they make kits for this. They could push a lot more volume that way since the majority of america is AT and it's a huge market here
