Terry, would you please do this for your free flashes.
Have differentiated EU and US maps to make it easier for people like me who are scared to mess something up.
Thanks in advance

what will I gain from this vs just using MAP 5 on my JB4 ?...
Wrong thread. Search/post in the main "BimmerBoost N54 free flash tuning" sticky.

This has been asked several times and dealt with in this thread. Terry will not be providing an additional version so you'll need to follow the instructions here or get someone who is more confident in doing this to help you out.

Is there anything stopping a member here doing these "EU specific bins" and uploading to this thread?

There is nothing stopping anyone from doing so. Whether it's a good idea to use another BIN rather than moving the defined changes to your own I guess is up for debate. That said, it should at the very least be less prone to the issues we've seen in using the US BINs.

I tried to follow the instructions but after the search in the difference tool I did not find fields:

2C77
2C78
Map Max Voltage

And for the Torque Monitor Ceiling I found 14 fields, compared to 13 fields in the OP's post

What next?

E92 335i N54, Hexon RR500, JB4, DCI, MMP inlets, ER chargepipe, Turbosmart Kompact Dual Port BOV, ATM IC, Wagner downp*pes, MPerformance exhaust, oil cooler, trebila flash (via MHD Flasher), E60, M Performance 370mm brakes, styling 313 wheels, M Performance suspension, Fuelit Stage2, MFactory LSD, MFactory SMWF

Search for the item title, not the address

Ok. Make sure you're using a recent XDF version for your DME as well.

So, I used the last xdf file, my backed up BIN (via MHD), BMS E85 BIN, all for I8AOS. Again, I found no fields 2C77, 2C78, Map Max Voltage.
And I have 14 Torque Monitor Ceilings instead of 13 in the description.

Make sure you reload the xdf in tunerpro. It's not enough to just replace the file.

just so you know, it's actually easier if you dont have those fields defined in the xdf. means you dont have to de-select them when making the changes.

is there an XDF containing the scale for the throttle table?

In orig bin it goes from 0 to 70% pedal
I would like to scale it from 0 to 100%

So guys, I installed the E85 flash (unmodified) and I got no code (after 300km). Should the fuel consumption be less with the modifications or not?

I've got I8AOS (EU-specced) car. TunerPro difference tool can't find Map max voltage or 2C77 or 2C78. I do find Torque monitor ceiling and 2C7B + 2C7C and deselect them. I've gone trough all the lines for 5 times so I'm quite sure they are missing. I'm doing the comparison to I8AOS_E85bin. But why am I missing those few lines?

And someone mentioned about DMTL codes. Why are they still copied and selected from US-specced bins? Am I supposed to deselect them to keep stock (euro-specced) if I don't want them popping up?

Like i said previously, if the values you're looking for, aren't defined in the XDF, this is a good thing. it means you dont need to deselect it when using the difference tool and will automatically retain your stock values

I could probably figure out how to do it, but why dont we just have 2 xdf files; one for US cars with the DTML, torque monitor ceiling and whatever those other codes are defined, and one for EU spec cars where these values are not defined, thereby removing the need to deselect these options in the difference tool.

Would probably make the whole thing a little bit more noob friendly and remove the need/request to have BMS make EU bins...

This is a good idea. May reduce the amount of confusion also.

No need to deselect anything.

Nb. This is only for BMS BB flash bins. If you want an xdf for MHD based flashes, its pretty simple to add torque monitor ceiling back in.

good luck!
Nicely done

Great work ba114, could you also do a MHD iteration? Both could then be called Euro_MHD and Euro_BB followed by the release date of the xdf so we all know what version we are using.

Element - could you sticky that to the first thread?

Download the xdf as zip here : https://github.com/dmacpro91/BMW-XDFs
then you can edit the breakpoints.
