My VM Single Turbo Dyno Results. -
12-22-2014, 06:12 PM
This was way overdue. I've had my kit for quite some time now and finally got around to strapping it down on a dyno. Sorry this took so long @fastgti69
Terry was kind enough to take some time to meet me at SpecialtyZ and try to work his magic. Unfortunately the car wasn't running at its full potential. Misfires and what looked like octane issues kept us from cranking up the boost. I might have some sort of meth distribution problem due to the way my nozzles are set but that is to be determined.
Overall I am very very happy with this kit and the results so far. I'll be hitting the dyno again very soon after I figure out the misfire issues.
Not bad for my first trip to the dyno on this kit.
6767 Comp turbo
100%meth
E35 fuel mixture
Auto trans.
Payam(fastgti69) thanks again for a great kit! You are a standup guy and it's always a pleasure doing buisness with you. I highly recommend your kit to anyone looking for a single turbo kit.
Also a huge thanks to @Terry@BMS for all your time and support over the years. The BMS team has been awesome and I am sure many more can agree with me on this.

You were telling me about this at NFZ and congrats on getting it up and running. Solid numbers so far! How's the transmission doing? You don't have the level 10 upgrade yet right?

Funny how skipped the 500hp range and went straight from 460's to 600's
How pricey is the level 10 torque converter?

500hp, that's what I put down on map 2 now.
I need to look into what that's going to cost. I also want to see Terry push his level 10 to see what it can handle.

The LPFP should keep up with the 100% e85 but not the HPFP. The 50-60% is fine in most cars and even just with the stage 2 Fuel-it which I have and highly recommended!
2010 AW/BLK 135i VM 6465 Single Turbo, JB4 + MHD, VRSF CP & Tial, Big Tom, Fuel-It PI + Stage 3 + Return + Ethanol Sensor, BMW PE, MFactory LSD & Axles, Spec 3+ & MFactory SMFW, RB External PCV
Best stock turbo 12.5 @ 19.46 spinning all the way down

Pretty sure that setup is way over 104 octane although I don't know exactly how much octane you need to run 30psi because its not a definite thing but my guess would be that it is plenty and you could run it safely. Basically nothing is set in stone and you would have to log and confirm that everything is in check with this or any fueling setup just to be safe.
