If you read the owners manual it explains how to set this.

Is 5 series and can flap setting compatible? I thought it was reversed or different?

Is my understanding correct that JB4 doesn't have a built in DP FIX and uses "Auto Code Clear" feature to clear CEL when ECU trips O2 code(s)
If yes, when you switch JB4 to MAP 0 is "Auto Code Clear" function still active ?

Seems to be no discernible difference. I did not look in the pipe, but no sound change or "click" like in your 335 demo video.

No, it disables itself on map 0 in case you take the car in for service. Auto clear would block BMW's diagnostics from functioning properly.

4/22 firmware right? Peek in there just to double check. And maybe a few other 535i owners can verify as well.

Thank you T for quick response, it confirmed my suspicion why I got CEL with O2 codes on MAP 0. Another benefit to re-install DP FIX.

It works great here, the sound is a lower tone than usual and you can hear the difference.
I haven't taken my bad boy out since the update, but my wife did.
When she came back, she ask if I did anything different because she said it feels so much stronger and sensitive
I just told her I updated the firmware and its on map 5
Only mods are - just the JB4 and latest firmware and SBv2
Hope this helps
Keep up the great work

[QUOTE=Steveo;181850]Made a couple of videos. I wasn't properly saving the flapper during earlier tests. Like sky surfer said, works great on 5ers too.
Great Vids Steveo, I'm glad you showed the mechanism working on the 5ers
I like the low tone compared to stock

Make sure you have the 4/20 interface as well or you won't be able to save anything.

I like the new 4/22 firmware but it seems like it decreased my fuel mileage(mpg) slightly.
