[QUOTE=Terry @ BMS;179422]The flapper valve control only took 30 min or so to code up.
Much more worth than 30min
I havent take flapper control plug out because want to go more silence in some situations.
After that mode can put flapper open and close when wanted, like it sure !

Let's start with the stock / always open option and if there is enough demand we'll allocate more resources to expand that.
Spent around 8hrs on the interface over the weekend extending the user adjustables/loggables from 128 to 256. Much more work than I thought it would be going in. That's what I get for using ASCII encoding originally. It's all straight bytes now. Just one or two more little bugs and we can move forward to alpha testing.

No my 1 is going to my wife next, so I want to make HER stealth as she has a heavy right foot...
She's cool with my race exhaust GT500 so the stock 1 series exhaust is weak sauce in comparison...
So when is this new update coming Terry?

So, what some of you are saying is you'd rather have fewer options.
Maybe I want to be able to drive late at night in the suburbs and not wake up the neighbors just because I got on the throttle a little too hard.

That wouldn't work too well when you incorporate wheel spin and tire size vs tire wear.
You would need an accelerometer or GPS.

Hey Terry,
While staring at my dash sitting at the lights tonight I had a thought. Wouldn't it be neat if the JB4 could hijack the LCD display in the middle of the dash?
I'm sure this has been explored on your end and I'm assuming the limiting factor would be that the display is most likely controlled by software that is internal to the gauge cluster as opposed to the tach and speedo which require constant feedback from the car and thus are hijack-able.
Is this the case or is LCD hijacking in our future too?

The only way this could be done is modifying a chip in the gauge cluster.

There isn't software for mac. you have to use boot camp or another emulator to get windows running on it.

Virtualbox from SUN/Oracle works great on Mac and it is free and dont require reboot as bootcamp.

I have had the JB4 and DCI installed for a couple of weeks now. Today I hit the DCT button and put the transmission into DS mode… it was a good feeling.
To those on the fence about the installation, I can attest to the ease of the install. You may hover over the PDF files and the videos elaborating upon the procedure, wavering over the risks, time involved, and complexity. I can assure you that it is not at all difficult, though you may want to ensure that you allot at least an hour to take your time. The end result is well worth it.
