Default Setting for MHD backend flash - 10-03-2020, 03:03 PM

Hey guys, I've been using n54tech for a while for my 2015 335i but have always been able to find what I was looking for already until now. I am currently trying to get my car ready for the MHD backend flash and in the instructions it tells me to set FutureUseD #6 on. I am using the JB4 mobile app and maybe I might just be missing it but all I see is Future Use A. I have been all through the menus and settings and cannot find FutureUseD anywhere.

Maybe I'm just a moron and am completely missing it, but hopefully one of you guys can help me out with this.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Edit:

Upon further investigation in the app, there is an options button under Future Use A that when I go into I see Bit6: Vehicle is equipped with a back end flash map. I don't want to change this yet because of my confusion with the Future Use A/Future Use D situation, but that's where I'm at now.

I don't want to start changing values unless I know what I'm doing for sure.

Download the latest JB4 firmware, set to map 0, get it on a charger, plug in the MHD flasher, buy the BEF, load the maps to the app, and start the flash.

Get the firmware uploaded/updated and follow the prompts on this site.

It's called options now in the app, on the user adjustment page.

Should Bit #6 be in the on position (green) when using the BEF?
