Default RB N54 Game Finisher turbo giveaway (or any RB N54 turbo) - 07-29-2019, 09:09 AM

Rob Beck approached me about possibly giving a set of his new 'Game Finisher' cast N54 turbochargers and we were able to work out a deal to give back to the community.

Personally, I would like to thank Rob for his generosity in making this happen and I would also like to thank all of you. The N54 community has changed a bit but it is still an integral part of BMW tuning in general.

I'm happy to give back and support in the ways I can plus, these are pretty awesome turbos. Note: If you already have RB turbos, you can still get comped the cost of your turbos in this contest.

Details here: BimmerBoost - The big RB Turbo N54 turbocharger giveaway - BimmerBoost is giving away RB Game Finisher cast N54 turbos or ANY N54 turbochargers in the RB Turbo catalog

Also some other parts coming in the giveaway and a big thank you to BMS for all their support. More cool things to come!

My sincere thanks to you all, good luck!

Give away's are nice. I had to check the link.

Note: Whoever gets the pair, it is weighted by post frequency and quality. Not being disruptive, just clear. (I was under a simpler impression, based on the above)

That said, I'm envious of the one who wins these RB turbos! I hope they are from our community.

This is one hell of a giveaway here, we have been working on these turbos for nearly a year and have spent countless hours making sure every aspect of the build is focused on utmost quality and performance.

We'd encourage those interested in learning more about them to do some reading the below link as well, and until then best of luck to those participating!
N54: New RBTurbo 'Game Finishers' - Two N54 cast turbo options starting at ~$3000

Thanks,
Rob

Awesome!
Engineer, were you the winner of the above contest, or just a direct buy?
Looking forward to some logs and results when you get this all setup! I don't think I've seen any yet for this beautiful product. (... or may I have and didn't realize?)

Engineer,

Fist, awesome!!

May I suggest a new thread for you?
You've got all new content that is seriously awesome!

If you were the winner of this contest, running with this thread may make sense.
This thread is, oh, how shall we say... lacking.

It would be nice to know how this 'give a way' goes. Not sure how long this is ongoing. Or maybe I missed it above...

We have sent around 13 sets of these out now, and think we have seen only 2 people ever make any mentions online! So +1 on the new thread!

(NOTE: He was not the winner, not sure that has been determined quite yet)

Nice on getting them out there!
Crazy people not posting their turbo results!

We send about 2-4 sets of new N54 turbos out every week and have been for now a solid decade, and probably 1 out of 50 will make any mention at best. While we get lots of happy feedback, emails with their results, etc; it seems we are not doing well in incentivizing our customers to speak up firsthand. Regarding this product we suspected there should be some heightened excitements, and hopefully as we enter into spring more performance data will present itself.

I'm crap at marketing.
However, I love a product that performs well without requiring a lot of noise.

VRSF for example, has aggressive marketing. It's not my pace.
I added stuff to a Cart and got an e-mail about sponsorship opportunities.
Buy stuff, write some 'reviews' and then they'll return a decent percentage of the order cost back to your CC.

This simply results in 5 stars and good reviews because people are effectively being paid to do it. (but above board somehow)

Effective, yes. It results in near 100% review results, and exceptionally positive public perception.

I've seen 1st time posters here just giving props.
Then they just need to provide evidence back for %.

Effective - yes. Disappointing - yes.
(not intending to diss a single vendor - it's wider than one, and I do like a lot of what VRSF has to offer, including prices)

** EDIT ** Glad to hear the winner has simply not been announced yet. Whatever the source, I want to read logs on these babies. RB Twos Plus as well - as that is my destination.

P.S. I got your inlets. Flawless. I have the subframe dropped. The rear inlet took me 11 minutes to install, no lube, no strings, no kinks, including a bunch of pictures. Having the motor hanging from a support bar may have helped, but the RB logo made it a breeze (will post pictures to my own 'winter efforts' thread)

Well said.

Marketing is not my thing either but there are times when I look around and see that incentivizing is where it's at for many, as getting the masses all rumbling at once would not happen with anything but those kick back efforts. Or having dealers also works well too, the more heads their are talking out there, the better for the sales.

Both not my thing really so until it is will just have to continue the slow and steady route!

Back on topic we will have to get with Sticky and see when this giveaway is supposed to take place, we have a set of these set aside waiting

Rob
