Default JB4 420i boost pressure - 12-02-2016, 02:45 AM

Dear all, I have installed the JB4 on a BMW 420i, including the FF wires. The thing is that boost on MAP 5 does not go above 0,88 and when it bearly goes the JB4 app says instantly that JB4 switched to safety map. Have I done anything wrong? Do I have to adjust anything? I also want to mention that on the JB4 app the FF field is always zero. Waiting for your soonest answer

PS When the boost little overgoes 0,8 that car idles a little

Your user adjustments are all zero'ed.

Change them to the following: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/attach...1&d=1449277624

And can I get a little more psi with map5? Is it a matter of gas or is it because of the self-learning map 5?

Are you running EWG wires? If not, you'll need those.

Those allow the JB4 to control boost directly and achieve more boost.
