Hi, I just set up jb4 and the mobile connect kit, for first time jb4 user can I set map in the app only? or will I have to use the steering wheel controls also? sorry if this has been asked before, I just joined today.

You set the map number using the JB4 bluetooth app.

My experience with the Stinger platform is if you enable the wiper switch, it over rides button pushes on the app. So if you want it app only, dont set up the wiper stuff.
Just my thoughts...
91 Oct no need for wiper, you only have Map1
93 Oct maybe worth it
93 w/ E85 usefull because you have 3 maps to bounce around

Thanks for the reply! I'm confused though, what Is this wiper switch? you recommend it because its easier to switch maps on the go vs with the mobile app? I plan on having the jb4 mobile app always running on a tablet

Under WMI
The 2 on top means as long as I'm not using the wipers in rain, the switch controls the Maps
0 first position Map 0
2 first click Map2
3 second click Map3
6 third click Map6
7 forth click Map7
You can set them up anyway you want
