Default HELP!! CEL - 08-27-2019, 04:57 PM

Hello,

I recently installed my JB4 1 week ago with Denso plugs gapped down to 0.022 running Map1 with Injen CAI and Ark *****. Today my CEL light came on with sputtering at idle and with throttle. I ran the check code and no codes came up. I also unplugged the JB4 and it continues to sputter with the CEL. Iím not sure if itís the plugs and/or coils? Any ideas? Thanks.

Need to read that code but sounds like a failed plug or coil to me. If plugs are new then maybe a coil? Try reading with an OBDII tool since JB4 is now removed.

Thank you for your input I greatly appreciate it. A tech at my local Kia dealership also has a JB4 on his Stinger and stated that his was doing the same thing when he first plugged his in and said itís likely a failed plug and coil, so heís gonna be able to cover the coil under warranty.
