Default Logging correction issues - 07-20-2021, 07:52 PM

Hey gents reaching out to see if anyone is having or had that same issue as me. In the last week or two timing in my cylinder 3 is fine and then a log a minute later logs noise. Plug is fine and only has 5k on it and car has 19k on it with jb4 installed at 15k. I will post a couple logs and you can see what Iím talking about. Thinking if it was a plug or coil it would be consistent and not fine and 1 min later bad. Thoughts? Was suggested more octane but running around 96-97 octane so that is not an issue.

On the 1st log it was cyl 6, 2nd log cyl 3. Pretty random for sure. Knock sensors could be picking up random noise. What would be more concerning to me is repeated timing corrections, not a timing correction that drops as you increase the RPMs.

I have a lot of logs with cylinder 3 making noise. Plug is fine as well as coil pack. Like you said probably random noise or something. Did a reset via battery disconnect and drove a bunch today seems everything has cleaned up.

That's interesting....have you tried switching coil packs and things like that?

I haven't yet but hope on a car with 19k those wouldn't go bad already. I did some pulls today and seems fine?

Yes it appears if there are any corrections it's always 3 or 6, but those are really minor.

Trims are maxing out early on and your HPFP looks to be right at the limit. I'd add more meth if running a meth/water mix.
