Default '18 X3 m40i First Log (exciting, eh?) - Review please?? - 10-20-2018, 07:02 AM

Hello everyone!

A week with the JB4+ and I was able to run my first logs this morning.

I am colorblind (sorta) so the graphs are extremely difficult for me to comprehend. I have to look at one at a time or label each on a sheet. So, I am struggling with reading them.

Would you PLEASE review my three logs attached and provide feedback?

Data:
2018 X3 m40i
2500 miles
Altitude 5280
Live in Denver
91 Octane Gas (highest because 91 is believed to be 93 elsewhere)
Temp was +36 degrees F.
Log started at stop. Once in 3rd, WOT.
Sport Mode. Manual shift between 3-4.

Thanks in advance!

Several people have looked at this thread but no replies.

Can you at least tell me if #2 and #3 are ok with the gas I can access?

Thank you.

I would say map 2 looks best, on map 3 it looks like more timing correction, normally that would point to map 2 as the better option unless you can get 93 gas, but better let the experts comment.....

Few timing drops in map 3, I would stick to map 2 that looked the best with least timing drops. Honestly surprised with 91 octane LOL

Awesome. Thank you for the review.

Timing drops....which variable on that graph is timing? And, what variable are trims (saw on other posts)?

I will study the graph you posted of my data to figure out each line.

Paul
P.s. any smarty pants want to talk with me on the phone and go through my graph explaining what each does and why?
