Resolved now
Terry the master will be updating the app with 18_T4 for those who got CEL with 18_T3, not sure if it's just ny car but there's night and day difference with the versus 17_T5 especially if you suffered from overboost.
Thanks again for the support Terry

I just loaded T4 and my mobile app says I'm still on 5/18//1. The same thing happened after loading and reloading T3 over the last few months....always 5/18//1.
Is this normal?

Greetings!!!
So I have been having some problems, replaced charge and boost pipe's, larger intercooler, I do not believe I have any boost leaks. After getting on the gas, the hazards flash and the JB4 goes to Map4.
Can one of the pros take a look at my logs and tell me what you see?

Could someone explain to me the difference between:
1 - locking FF adaptations, then setting RPM based duty bias values to shape the FF curve so it matches WGDC, then unlocking FF adaptations and allowing the jb4 to alter FF to shift the curve up/down to the WGDC curve, essentially perfecting your boost curve to your target boost curve,
and
2 - Disabling FF RPM gain so duty bias RPM gain can be manually set more precisely
This is the only info I could find explaining this FF RPM Gain: Note FutureUseD=64 disables "RPM FF Gain", which allows you to manually enter a duty bias curve that is more appropriate to larger turbos.
I do have a PS2 and want to be able to maximize its performance.
Thanks!
EDIT - sounds like it’s just another variable you can lock so it’s easier to dial in your duty bias values. So when you go to dial in your duty bias, turn off FF adaptation, and also disable FF RPM Gain.

Low Boost -

Any help would be great, used to hit 17 psi, no barely 15. Would hit 19 with BEF, but was getting error 2906 with the BEF.
2011 e93, n55, fuel it stage 2+ lpfp, new hpfp, new fuel lines and ethanol sensor, charge pipe, down pipe, BMS intake, intercooler, plugs and coils within last year, upgraded inlet and outlet, JB4 running about e27, xHP. Turbo Smart Diverter Valve.
Not sure why I have lost boost?

It would be really good if this was posted on the main page or on the release notes of the firmware. So which one of the menu's was deprecated?

Hey @Terry, I was wonder if it would be possible to incorporate the JB4's firmware, methanol pump purge button function to also work with the BMS PI Controller? I'm finding if I don't drive 'hard' for a day or two, I get air pockets in my methanol feed line to my Phoenix intake's fuel rail. This causes a temporary timing correction(s) the next/first time I drop the hammer.
I currently have a physical button under the hood by the DME along with a schrader valve at the return side of the fuel rail. I can trigger the meth pump while releasing any air trapped in the rail manually but it's far from optimal. I was thinking of using an old meth solenoid valve instead of the schradar and have a single button inside that triggers the pump and solenoid together which will drain back into the meth reservoir through a custom return hose. How cool would it be if every time the car primed the fuel pump(like when you turn the alarm off), it would also prime and clear the methanol flow lines. Let me know if this or something similar would be possible. Thanks in advance and have a great holiday weekend!
I went out tonight and experimented with the JB4's WMI flow gauge and it's function. While manually pressing a button I installed under the hood, I engaged the methanol pump with the ignition on(also with the engine running) and watched the JB4 app's WMI gauge for activity. Unfortunately, it didn't read anything. I'm guessing that the read function must require either boost or some other fuction in order for the app to display meth pump flow values. @Terry, could you make the WMI read function 'always on'?

Hey guys, new to Bimmers as I traded in my B8.5 A5 for an N55 135i. This car is an absolute beast... I've added charge pipe and JB4 so far, have an Injen intake and some cowl filters that I need to put on next.
Anyways, to my question/ concern:
I've been running JB4 for about a week now. Was running Map 5 and adjusted 10 (1k), 11 (4k), and 12 (2.5k) based off the forums. Today while I was on the highway in 4th gear, I pedaled down, engine light flashed and the acceleration completely died. Engine still was running, and in neutral I could rev to around 2k rpm. Wouldn't move at all in gear. Pulled over, restarted the car, engine light was gone and all was good. Running Map 1 now, adjusted 10 (1.5k), 11 (3k) and 12 (2.7k) and everything seems to be fine.
Any ideas what could have happened? Seems like it went into limp mode for some reason? In limp mode, I thought I would've been able to at least move in gear... like I said, didn't seem like it wanted to move at all. My Bluetooth module will be coming in tomorrow but I don't have any logs or the code that flashed. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Excited to continue my build!

Read the codes but sounds like maybe the MAF/intake connection is loose?

help will be appreciated got today service engine soon light. I was just cruising and the light came up with a change in rpm/airflow mix maybe? (assume tuning). Stopped checked the intake hoses etc everything seemed ok.
Went to JB4 app read codes and these came up:
2C90 boost under target/boost leak detected
3106 ******* ******** installed
2774 mass airflow too high-- ignore tuner code
3166

Hello,
I need some help with my JB4 parameter display.
When I try display readings for low pressure fuel pump (FP_L), I am not getting and values.
Is there something wrong with low pressure fuel pump or did I configure JB4 display incorrectly?
I have E92, 335i, JB4 app build 2.5.6 (9813), firmware version 5/17//1.
Thanks in advance!

Doesn't work with N55. HPFP does if you have the "E85" connector attached.

The N55 doesn't have a low pressure sensor for fuel.

I have 2015 E84 X1 with the N55 and JB4 and bolt ons...
Is anyone running the JB4 (EWG) Electronic Wastegate Add-on Connector?
I am wanting to use it, but dont know if its supported on the E84 platform, and if so which firmware would I use?
TIA
