Hi Terry,
Please check log when you have a moment. I posted in different section by mistake. Ran a 12.5 at 112 off launch control with computer doing shifting. Was told timing dropped out and shifting too high. Is it better to run with paddles? Had 93 octane with wmi.
Thanks

Data side seems fine to me. On getting those good times practice makes perfect and weather plays a large role too.

1.6T
map 2
gear 3 (DCT)
regapped stock plugs to 0.24
100RON fuel (5% ethanol)
Fuel wire has been installed but not sure if I got it right, I've also set the DWP to 100 (which has made the car waaay better to drive by the way)
cheers

Map 2 94 RON, couple of decent pulls before I go to Map 3 as I just put can of additive in but may not have mixed fully yet as it was only about 20 miles after top up

12.47 1/4 mile and 4.4s 0-60 but still losing on this damn launch but getting better.....4.14s with 1ft roll, too early for brake boost :-)

Seems OK to me. On the 1.6L it's harder to tell if the fuel wire is working but the trims seem to be dropping at fuel-enrichment goes up so I'd guess it is.

Good Morning Terry:

Quick question, I'm currently selling my JB4 for the 3.3T Stinger, bought a couple years ago. Will my unit auto detect to the other platforms as well, I assume that is part of a firmware update?

In case you're wondering, I'm selling because I bought an 2019 Audi RS3, I'll likely get the JB4 for it as well.

Regards,
Scott

Hey Terry,
Been playing around with map 6 a bit. Added some boost in the mid range and took out a little in the top end. Feels really strong. Was able to edge out against a 335d fbo and tune. Just wanna make sure numbers are still looking pretty safe and where they need to be I'm still intercooler, turbo inlet, intake snorkel, d0wnp1pe, cai, catch can and 92 octane.

The Stinger model will work for other Kia vehicles. The JB4 mobile adapter you can keep and reuse with your next JB4 along with the app.

There are some timing corrections so I think you'd be better off with more octane if possible. But all things considered it's not bad. If it's pulling strongly then probably fine.

Hi, just got my HKS M45 plugs installed. Gapped to .025
Cold starts are definitely much better, less hesitation and sputtering.

can you please check my logs to see what you think?
these were done on map1 with 91 octane
Car is stock other than CAI.

Thanks.

Still a couple weird AFR spikes where you would not expect to see them. Turn off fuel control next, options bit0 on.

Now it only spikes during the shift where I'd expect it. For the 1.6L models o2 biasing isn't really that beneficial anyway unless running a heavy E85 mix so I'd leave JB4 fuel control disabled.

Little help here Terry.

Car runs strong, after WOT the boost goes to above 30psi and stays there for a while and then all the dash lights come on and the car runs like crap. I get a 061B code, I clear it and things go back to normal. Car has EWG, WMI and on map 2.

Let me know were to start.

Mind taking a look? Any suggestions to increase performance or anything look questionable as far as safety? Thanks

Trims look real low at times. Are trims significant if so why? Thanks again.
