Default No Fly Zone Arizona Results - 12-14-2014, 06:58 PM

A few of us from SoCal decided to make the drive out to Arizona which inlcuded myself in my N54 335i, Shea in his Pure 135i and his brother in his 5.0. Took us about 5 hours to get there but once we started racing it was worth it (drive home sucked though haha). My car ran great all day and I had some great kills along with some close ones. My worst loss of the day was against another N54 135i. Maybe he's on here and will chime in

He has no seats but the driver seat, Kosei wheels, CF trunk and hood. My 335i is a E90 so he probably had 3-400lbs on me

And yes the DINAN M4 was a joke. He showed me his dyno and it looked worse than stock lol He's in the process of getting a refund.

I am amazed how fast these cars are. I have a FBO PTF tuned Z435i DCT and I wish that we had a long track like this somewhere close to me so I could embarrass some American muscle.

Are you JB4 or Cobb tuned?

If Cobb, who tuned you?

So many people don't realize what a properly set up stock turbo, e60, and methanol n54 car can do. easily 120+ traps. Hell, Zeel went 11.7 @ 124 on stock turbos and just e60, no meth!

Nice runs, op!

Sweet videos!

Poor Dinan tune guy... I think it's always best for them to avoid tracks where they might have to race non-Dinan tuned vehicles...

11.3@125mph here... But it was with a gutted 135i. Stock N54 turbos can really perform though.

Thanks T!

Yeah that M4 would've been better off running stock lol. He showed me his dyno graph and the Dinan tune would fall on its face at high RPM harder than stock. He isn't very happy to say the least.

I got to ride in Jesse's car on a few passes and that thing will be an absolute beast once you guys get it dialed in. Stage 2 FTW

Yes I can't wait to get his car on the dyno and sort out the fueling, higher boost control, etc. I'm hoping it can hit 600whp.

I know he can't wait either. So far I'm most impressed with how it holds power all the way to redline. Once the wastegate wires are hooked up and you fine tune it, 600+rw shouldn't be a problem.

I wish I didnt have to work, would have liked to go for a ride in one of the JB4 cars... although apparently I made a poor choice at buying an F10 N55 and should have shopped for a N54 car Oh well... fell in love with the looks of the F10 and didnt do enough research!

N54's are great motors but the N55 is coming along nicely. Check out Pure turbo's in San Diego. They have a stage 1 out right now that gets you over 400rw FBO and their stage 2 will be out very soon and should make 500+rw. In order to reach these power levels you'll need to be able to flash your DME and have high octane fuel along with Meth.
The F10 5 series is a great looking car tho

Ive been patiently watching the results of the rebuilt/upgraded factory turbos, and new turbos with tunes and such, but I have a warranty for 3 more years so im cautious to do anything that might nuke this car, or the transmission if it doesnt come with a huge payoff in power without sacrificing a lot of reliability. I really want to just do a ********, build a super quiet exhaust, and a JB4 with Ethanol, but it sucks to do all that, and only run low 13s. I just dont really care for the N54 cars and the N55 3 and 5 series was the first time I really liked a BMW enough to get one

Nice videos! Later on I am going to post couple of your runs on our Instagram page if you don't mind.

Was that M4 MT?

I must say a bad driver also. Stock M4 should still be close enough considering it does around 420whp stock. I am starting to not like the MT more and more.

I agree. He seemed to shift very slow. A dct S55 would've been an even match I think since it weighs a few hundred pounds less but I'm making more power. I'm not a huge MT fan either but once these S55's have stage 2 turbos like Jesse's then the MT will hold up better since the DME isn't flashable yet. I don't think the DCT will hold 600+rw
