Default Stutter after reinstall - 06-12-2020, 05:50 AM

I uninstalled JB4 for the service at Kia dealership for an oil change, i reinstalled my JB4 including the fuel wires. I put it on Map2(which is what i usually sit at) this morning, first time driving after the reinstall, noticed stutter and jerkyness when i press on the gas, pretty consistently, basically all the time. I changed it to map0 and still the same, i unplugged my JB4 and no stutter or anything, running smoothly. My car and JB4 was working properly for months without an issue until i uninstalled and reinstalled.. I donít know if itís misfire or what is going on

This happened to me as well. Got the 106 code which I think is connections. Car is undriveable...even stalls.

Map 0...same.

Had to disconnect everything.

Been working fine on my G70 3.3T for well over a year !!

Have not had time to mess with it...so not even using my JB4 right now.

This sucks.

Sounds like something is loose, photos of install? Maybe OBDII cable in wrong orientation? JB4 log?

Could having some wire cover residue particles affect the stutterness? When i installed the driver side fuel wire, i might have had some pitched between the posietap and the end cap.

I removed my fuel wires first...and still the same thing. Then I proceeded to remove the entire JB4 setup.

ODBII connector (inside and into JB4) can only go in one way.

No...as it runs perfectly with the JB4 out.

I do use BOOSTane Pro. Since I rarely drive lately...wonder if the fuel is giving the JB4 issues.

Not sure if the BOOSTane settles over time or if it’s permanently blended with the fuel.
