Drive by shifter is weird. Brake snip only works part way until the auto stop light on the dash starts flashing.

Not heard of much damage but have heard of lots of sub-4 second 0-60mph times. Overall it's been solid. Just don't over do it on the launch.

So if this is messing up the GT2 due to the shift by wire and other amenities, terry do you for see trying to work this somehow into the JB4, or is there no way of doing it? I would like to do it, but I have a GT2 and I'm not going to induce some issues if it is causing some on peoples cars already.

Yeah...really wish there was a way for the JB4 to do this. That way there could be a safety involved.

I really don't want to snip any wires.

Waiting to see if Terry & Co. comes up with something...or if someone else has a brilliant non-snip solution.

So those of us with rear wheel drive and no Auto stop start system should have no issues correct?

The DIY is what it is this point and a wire cut is required to enable it.

As far as I know it generally works on all models including GT2, although there is some variance in how the launches themselves work which others will need to attest to. Our development RWD GT zero issues.

Looks like the wire on the brake light switch may be the same wire.

I did this mod yesterday, but since I have a RWD GT1, is this just for the smoke show? Anyone figure out how to utilize this on a RWD car?

Depends on your rear tires. I’m rwd with a g70. I have sport cup 2 rear tires that are 285 wide. Air down to 18 psi. Do a quick burnout to mid second gear. Then launch at about 2350-2400 rpm. Was roughly 4-5 psi of boost but I hit my best 0-60 of 4.40 and helped me shave .32 off my 1/4 mile. 2.00 60’ was my launch for this run. Normal lc only got me a 4.62 0-60 and best 60’ was 2.109. Also in Las Vegas with a da around 6500

Yes. Leave everything on. You don’t have to. But I have had better launches with it on. Just mess around with a bunch of different ideas and see what works for you

I've heard rumors that the brake wire can be located at the brake pedal assembly and it might be possible to make a plug and play adapter for it. When time permits I'll try to confirm it and chase down the required connectors.

Yea the only connectors Todd could find on the Genesis board were about $150 each.
