Smile New bigger turbo logs - 07-25-2013, 02:42 PM

Would like some comments/feed back on logs attached.

Thanks for your comments. Firstly we do not have E85 in the uk, deffo not in London were i am :-( . So i only use Shell V power for street use.
The logs were on Map 3 running a 60/40 mix. I do use vp 109 on map 7 @ the pod, 20 psi boost fail safe.
When i get home later i will re-post a graph with timings on it, but you can always down load my logs and go through them, Do you think there might be anymore to get out of this setup ?
Car Spec: Owen Development complete re-manufactured Turbos with the waste gate totally re-worked, see below pic. machined internals, cut back blades with a 55mm hta wheel. You will need to speak to Owen Developments to get a price.
Link: http://www.owendevelopments.co.uk/
Terry's Cobb AP front end flash, Custom Exhaust & *********, no *****s, Cheap Chinese intercooler. Terry's Charge pipe & Water/Meth kit. That's about it for the Engine side. Do have a quaife LSD fitted which just transforms the cars traction.
I think the next step is to try and get the fuel system sorted.
Cant wait to get to Santa Pod and try to get in the 11sec ?

Great timing, I would get the 3.5 bar sensor, raise meth add top 80....I run it daily. Add you notice I have a slight boost spike at shift Wich I could fix by lowering boost reduction...you could possibly raise that to get s bit more boost at shift. I would let Terry have final say. These turbo s have a good curve!

Stock map sensor is limited to 20 psi and a 75 add for meth, N20 3.5 allow 24 psi and a 100 add on meth.

Thanks for the input robc1976, notice your boost comes in earlier than my boost, mine is a little bit slow, can this be adjusted in anyway ?

BazBar...That is running pretty rich...did you load defaults to the G5 after you installed your backend flash? The "All Map AFR" setting should all be "0". Turbos look great, looks like they have a bit more in them but your "cheap chinese intercooler" may be holding them back a bit

Rob...that is looking damn good....NICE WORK!

Thanks steveAZ, cant remember what i done now when i loaded the flash and the G5, but later i will check and possibly reload/reset the G5, one thing i have noticed of late is the smell from the exhaust begin a stronger than normal (no cats, just a straight through exhaust). so possibly right about the over fueling, better of to much than not enough. I have got the AMS intercooler also but i had an accident with a rock, split the intercooler because i removed the front plastic mesh grill, lesson learnt

Hopefully i can get it repaired and get it back on the car again (behind the grill this time).
Cheers

Agreed, better rich than lean...but a little leaner will make more power and you're pretty rich

you can just select...

6) G5 ISO w/ BMS Flash, 1M, or 335is (which I'm assuming you already have)

and

File/Restore Defaults

I would replace your boost selonoids and check all vacuum lines...especially these.

That's for higher boost pressures. You are below 20psi, so you don't need one.

add of Notre he is but he may want to raise that, also he can run high meth additive with the N20.

He has only the compressor wheel upgraded, the turbine wheel is only clipped. IMO the stock TMAP is enough for his turbos. No harm done though trying it out and letting us know for sure
