What fuel are you on? The logs look ok, the timing is a bit low but there are no large drops. You should be ok with a +6 with a decent 93 octane. The 3rd log looked the best to me, the first two dropped to about 3-3.5* at peak boost. It didn't look like a knock drop so I would assume the fuel isn't the greatest.

The ecu does not always command max boost, it depends on various factors. You were still achieving 17 psi peak and the log looks good for that run. Depending on the gear and conditions you may see a psi more so get some more logs with multi gear pulls and one going uphill some to vary load.

I’m only using 91, cuz California.. can I mix 3 gal e85 and 91 with stock fuel system and no fuel wire. If no, I’ll set lower boost. Btw thank you!

Hey Guys,
Did some pulls and I would appreciate it if someone took a look.
2018 Q50 AWD Silver Sport...NO mods...30 Degree Weather, 93 Oct.
I am running map 2...There is a big hesitation/jerk feeling right around 3500/4000 rpm...in every gear...manual mode or regular. If i keep on it, the car smooths out and pulls pretty hard. Any idea what that can be?
Also, if i WOT 1st gear in manual mode, the car hesitates at 3500rpm then shoots right to rev limiter and takes 2 seconds to change into 2nd gear... This does not happen when tune is disconnected.
Any input is greatly appreciated!

Log looks good, I would keep it here for a little safety margin. Should pull strong.

The logs are kind of all over the place and hard to find a good section to look at. There is a lot of under 100 throttle and pedal info. I would try and get a better 2nd gear through 4th gear wide open log. Boost was all over the place and it never seemed to get much out of Lean spool. I would get a good log as i mentioned on Map 1 first. Let us look at it and see if you can move to a higher map.

Didn't get a chance to hit the track with the Boostane this weekend but I did disable fuel wires. Plan to get some logs on straight 93 while my DA is in the negative range

Map6 targets -
11-18-2019, 09:15 PM
Terry, How are the user adjusted boost targets for map6 scaled between rpm ranges? For example looking at the logs for map1 it seems to have either more set points between a curtain rpm range, or is there more scaling that happens between given user inputs to get that the target will be at lets say 2750 rpm.

Nice, that's huge. I am +35, that 5mm difference closer to the fender has me thinking it may not work

Linear scaling between points.

Hello!
I'm new in regards to tuning and turbos. I just recently bought a JB4 and was playing around with Map 0 and Map 1 since I only have access to 91 Oct.
I'm not sure when I should do logs so I decided to just data log my daily drives to work to see what's it like. I data logged in Map 0 and Map 1 for about 8 miles (25-30 minutes) daily driving in the City to work. I read that AFR should never go pass 15-16. But the data log graphs show that in Map 0 and Map 1 for me, I get a lot of AFR spikes to 25. I also notice I get more AFR spikes to 25 if I drive in manual mode too during my 8 mile 25-30 minute drive to work in the city. Is this normal? Any tips and advice would help. I'm sorry if this is a repetitive issue or question - I'm new when it comes to this stuff.
Thank you so much for your help!

you'll see 25 on deceleration. Regular driving while logging wont tell you much. You need to go wide open throttle when safe to see how the car responds to full boost.

Ohhh. I didn't know the AFR spike to 25 is from deceleration.
Is there a specific gear or MPH I need to get to for the WOT pull?
And I have a curious question: The log for the WOT is to check AFR spikes during WOT and full boost, right? Does this mean the AFR spikes during WOT and full boost is bad? What AFRs are you looking for during WOT and full boost?
Thank you so much for your help, honestly. I'm just trying to learn.

a 3 gear pull like 2nd-4th or 3rd-5th is best for logging. you'll need some space but it can be done, especially on on-ramps to highways.
An FYI. Map 0 is 'disabled', you have the JB4 turned off and are running just from the stock ecu
You'll see AFR spikes at some shifts, but at WOT during the data log you should be between 11-13
