Hard to adj something that doesn’t exist.
Any progress on the E-Virtual Offset feature. If it can be ‘tuned’ to be closer to real-time, that would be a big plus. I believe the stock value of 150 ?

Can anyone check my csv file numbers seem to be off.
New installed one a stock jb4 running map 1. Was running 93 ethanol free but filled up with 92 after viewing my csv.
Am I running the right settings? Any help would be appreciated. It trying to blow anything up.

JB 1 -
10-06-2019, 01:32 PM
I have a 2018 silver sport and 93 pump gas in my area. I just want an improvement in daily driving for some fun
I was thinking of a jb1 upped to +5. I know the jb4 is superior, but is anyone who just drives to work each day and want a little extra fun running the jb1 anymore? I do not ring the motor to redline so "every extra up top" is not concern. Again I am not looking to drag race and the +$100 savings for jb and the quick disconnect is tempting.
I also noticed the jb1 and jb4 HP and torque graphs on this site shows the same curve for both the jb1 and jb4.
Thoughts are appreciated if this is a wise move for my needs.

Raising the boost that much with no way to log to see if it's safe is asking for trouble....all to save $100.

Can't you use an app like Torque pro to monitor AFR, etc?
All to save $100?? Jb 4 with Bluetooth is $619. Jb1 is $379. That's $240 last time I checked. All in all not a lot of money but if the jb1 fits what I need (see previous post) then it's 240 in my pocket.

Stage1 can't perform the same level of tuning the JB4 can, but it does cost more. Different strokes for different folks.

Not quote full throttle here but the log itself looks fine to me.

Terry...you are the expert. Will a jb1 set to 5psi be safe for a SS with 93 pump gas as a daily driver? Again I don't beat on the car or redline it, I ust want a little extra fun here and there.
Did the jb1 ever come in the same clamshell as the jb4 minus the obd cable?
Thanks again.

You're the one saying $100. Do what you want but even if it was $500 difference, penny wise dollar foolish when it comes to a $10000 motor.

Finally got a chance to do some intensive logging on multiple maps in cool weather. Car felt good. Can anyone advise of any maxed fuel trim issues, timing issues or AFR issues? Those are my main concerns. Thanks

You sure you posted the right log? It looks like all 1st gear tip in stuff that only shows lean spool. You really need a multi-gear pull.

I see all of the logs I took with multiple maps. I resorted it by Peak Boost in column E if that helps. Strange to see that multiple maps achieved varying levels of boost peaks.

Still looks really odd. Only like 2 samples....not sure that log is really going to work.

If you are not planning to beat on it I think the default Stage1 settings make the most sense. That gives you most of the power gain with the lowest risk.

JB4 issue -
10-09-2019, 09:48 AM
Good afternoon everyone! I was on the way to work this morning, connected to my JB4, and only 2-3 PID’s pulled up on my phone. I tried flashing to map 0, with no beeps to confirm. I unplugged the JB4 and retried connecting with no fix, I just tried to update the firmware again to V7 which it has on it already. It failed, now my car has the CEL and TC light on. Any help would be awesome, thanks again!

My advise - for what it is worth: Just to rule out the JB4 - suggest removing the wire harness and return to stock connections - drive it for awhile and see if everything returned to normal (stock). If so, then it could be the wiring harness had a questionable connection - not entirely uncommon. Double check the pins in the connectors and reconnect the harness / JB4. Fire it up and see if that resolved the issue.

Will do! Thanks for the reply as well as Terry getting back to me FAST via email. I’ll unplug and see what happens
Just to update, unplugged the battery/ waited a few mins before re-connecting. Downloaded a new firmware file, plugged in the JB4 and reflashed via bluetooth flawlessly. Terry has AMAZING customer service via email. Can't praise him enough, can't wait to order some more BMS stuff at the end of the year!

We’re you getting any wheel spin?
Can you post your map 6 boost targets
AFR looks good in boost, timing is being added throughout the pull so no detonation.

Echo this. I pretty much run stock boost at 6k and beyond. The turbos are just producing heat in that range of the RPM band, you're not going to go any faster
