Hey bro check your code again. Are you sure it's not code P0299? That code was giving me the CEL multiple times

It happens randomly or do you think something is triggering it?
You're on the latest firmware, right?

Code just means car thinks you have a boost leak. Sure it comes up if leaving the JB4 on map1?

Hey all,
Just installed my JB4 into the Maserati yesterday. Uploaded Map 1 off this forum into my car and noticed a pretty significant difference... But just like all of you; I am eager to get more. How can I go about getting map 2? Do a few pulls like the guide says? Upload them to who/where?

You can post logs here if you want us to check them out! On 93 octane map2 should be fine.

How do I go about getting map 2? Do I just click on 'Pick' then '2' on the JB4 software? Sorry for any dumb questions... first time using JB4 or any tuner.

Depends what app or software you're using. If windows app it's a drop down. If JB4 mobile select map and it gives a list of maps.

running a little rough -
05-31-2020, 05:22 PM
I have been running E85 on map 2 for quite a while with no issues. I bumped the E85 up to about half a tank and moved to map 5. That worked well for a little but kept throwing the check engine code 1779 or something like that which I know is an emissions code.
Until recently it started throwing a different code, 304B which looks like according to the forum is a misfire in the fourth cylinder. I attached my log in both maps 5 and 2. It seems to be running better in map 2 for some reason. I also noticed that when not shifting and running in automatic, it reves to redline and seems to get confused and takes a good 3-4 seconds to shift.
Please let me know if you see anything on these logs that may be alarming and if there is something else I should do like get higher burning sparkplugs since I am running so much E85. Thanks

Just posted v3 BETA firmware with a few changes including activating some of the safety systems, fixing a bug on map3, and further increasing sampling rate. Could use a few logs so load and let me know!

I have not activated the fuel control wires yet, we need to get a car in house for a few days for extended testing with them and with COVID and the lock down it's been tricky.

The log looks normal, on our to-do list is to add fuel pressure logging as well so we can monitor that especially on E85 mixtures.
Misfire could be as simple as plug gap being too wide. We suggest 0.022".

Thanks Terry - I am running the Ghibli v2 on Map3, didnt realize there was a bug, so I will update tonight and try to get some logs this weekend over to you.
As a side note, will the JB4 work on the V8 Levantes? Thinking of getting a Levante Trofeo.

The map3 on v2 would run a fixed profile boost based on the "boost safety" setting. Which by default was 5psi. So if untouched then it's fine. But we matched it up with the map guide in v3.

I uploaded the new firmware. Running on Map3 with about 4gal of E85+93 pump. Feels good.
I am having issues capturing logs at the moment. For some reason they are not saving in the app. Ill mess with it later tonight or tomorrow.

So it looks like it was saving the logs, but the graphs on the app look like its missing data elements.
