@Terry,
I joined your beta testing program for the JB4 app. Would you still want my logs here or elsewhere in case there are issues with the beta?

Are you talking about in the log where the throttle cuts to zero? Did you have wheel spin?

Not sure where it cuts to 0, I can't read them at all pretty much. I do know that the bog took place on row 337 through row 369. When i first went WOT the car didn't respond right away, then started building boost, then jerked/bogged hard, then kicked in and started pulling. No wheel spin

Im struggling to see it in the excel at those rows. I see that at 337 you went WOT, but boost looks linear and using the BMS JB4 windows app it looks like boost ramps normally from a 1st gear pull. I can see the AFR go real lean at 4200 but assume thats part of the lean spool. The pedal and throttle both agree (your foot and the allows throttle blade opening).
Separately youre fuel wires almost look like theyre on and off. It doesn't really settle out until mid 2nd gear and then looks like it struggles again in 3rd. Seems odd.

Got a dragy, been messing around with it. Trying to find an area where I can do 1/4 runs, but here's a baseline 0-60 for now. Once I aired the tires to 30psi it dropped to 4.69

Not sure what the issue might be on that. But, if things are not running right you usually need to go down in boost until they are.

Looks normal to me! Main thing to look for on fuel wires is to ensure the bank to bank fuel trims match up.

issues with running jb4 app on 19 Q50 3.0t LUXE -
09-25-2019, 11:55 AM
Greetings,
so ive had jb4 installed in 19 q50 3.0t LUXE and first couple days it was amazing. I didn't really know what I was doing and started punching in numbers in map 6 that I really could not grasp the concept of specific tweaks. i am having issues with my ign 1 its just all over the place and trims don't seem to be somewhat linear to the RPMs. i did have a P0101 code come up twice since ive had it. i ended up disconnecting the device and the battery for a couple minutes and it seemed fine but then a week later i had the same issue. i am looking to have someone guide me to the right direction towards controlling the trims and ign 1 and look at a regular log to figure out of i messed up the car in general or if there are some tweaks i can make. i have stopped playing with the map settings since and currently running on map 2. i am just worried about the car in general, not looking to make it a mean machine, just trying to get by
i will attach some logs i have to try and give insight on the conditions and how it drives.
i am trying to attempt to upload the file but it does not accept csv format so ill post the info if anyone can give me their opinion while i try and upload the data
9/25/19 map 0 is after the second P0101 incident
9/25/19 map 2 seeing how it drives if i use a map
9/24/19 map 5 switched to this to see a difference in the logs settings compared to map 2
9/9/19 map 5 BEST was when the car was running in perfect condition as per my experience
greatly appreciate the efforts and really looking forward from hearing from the community.

Yesterday I went to do a dragy run and the car wouldn't launch. I warmed the tires, set to map 6, slight brake boost and when i went WOT the RPMs climbed at a snail's pace, then finally got to redline. Never broke traction like I usually do. 0-60 time was 5.22. It was a warm day, at around 93, but my IAT and Trans Temp were both below 100 at the time of the attempt. Is my car broken? No codes are present.

Yep, normal boosting when rolling prior to getting to my test location. Was driving on Map 3 due to the heat and had no issues.
I first only brake boosted to about 1500 and the car flopped hard. Didn't even finish the run. Backed it up then launched from 2000 which usually causes me to spin. Car flopped again. The heat isn't easing up this week (97 on Thursday for some ungodly reason) so I can't test it in a cooler scenario to chalk it up to the heat.

Might be useful to go back to map 0 and see if you can launch it the same way. Could be too much boost commanded too early.

Good point, will do. I recently turned my Map 6 down to 6.5psi peak but may still need to tinker with it

None of the logs are heavy or full throttle so there isn't much to see other than cruising data which is going to be run by the ECU. The JB4 is always off during low throttle.
If you have fault codes coming up though could indicate a loose wire or connection on the JB4. Try opening enclosed to check for any loose wires attaching to the harness on the gold pins?
