When logging i think it’s preferable to do a long pull starting from bottom of third gear to top of third while WOT. Looking at some of the logs, you didn’t go full throttle all the way. Not sure if this will affect how they read it, i’m sure someone else can chime in

Okay did 2 pulls this morning in 3rd gear up to about 120. Ambient temp was around 70 this morning. Appreciate the help! I'm trying to learn more about this stuff and I feel like there's alot of mixed messages on different forums about what is the best to do with this car lol

I looked at your 2 longer logs. Looks good to me. Consider fuel wires to help with the AFR.

Can someone look at these 3 logs?
Map 6 +4.5 Peak
Default Map 1
Default Map 2
Based on these logs, Default Map 2 seems to be the cleanest?

I like the map2 log better myself too, prefer to see timing rolling up rather than down at peak HP.

Thanks for taking a look.
Question about reading ign, from my understanding timing is only being pulled if there’s a sharp drop (iirc 3 or more?) during the pull. If the ign values start very low say 1.5-2.0 and gradually increase towards redline, is that still acceptable?

What we're looking for are drops that are not mapped out, e.g. in response to early knock. You want to see a smooth slope up as RPM increases. If it looks like a downward staircase instead, you know more octane or less boost is needed.

really short log, but they look ok, even map 6. Tough to tell, you really need a good 3 gear pull to be sure.

Ahh gotcha. Reason I asked is because I had one 3rd gear pull where the ign dropped really low to 1 and then gradually went up as rpm went up. Wasn't sure if that was a bad thing or not.

I was under the assumption a long 3rd gear pull was ideal? I'll do a few more logs from 1st-3rd gear and get back to you. Thanks again

Don't get me wrong, a higher gear pull is good. But a multi-gear pull will really get the heat going and tell you if you octane vs. boost isn't good as Terry said timing will really drop out.

I received the heat exchanger and had our lead tech install it (I work at an Infiniti dealership), but having an issue with electronics. Everything installed perfectly, fluids replaced, etc. When I take it out and drive it I'm having throttle issues. I stomp on the gas and reaction from the engine is immediate as always, but after a blip of 100% throttle, it backs itself down to around 30-35% throttle. There is NO power...feels like it's running on 3cyl. I drove the car to lunch before the install and it ran perfectly, now with the heat exchanger in the car feels like half of the motor is gone. Did we miss something in the install? Is there something in the diagnostics and/or setup in the JB4 to account for the new hardware? Please help!!!

Hello Everyone and Terry, I finally did an E30 Blend filled up yesterday and did some pulls thoughts on logs. Wondering if I can turn it up? Going to the track today and I'm up against 3 cars, I am racing my coworkers one with a stock 2013 Audi RS5 which is 450hp, a Audi A7 with upgraded supercharger pulley, intercooler and tune and he will be running E85, and a 1989 Volkswagen GTI which is putting down 423 wheel horsepower. Here are my Map 6 logs with E30 mix. 2019 Q50 Silversport
Psi settings are
1500-2500- 5.0 psi
3000-4000 - 6.0 Psi
4500-5500- 7.0 psi
6000-7000- 5.0 psi
Suggestions sent my a buddy on Q50 page

Drop your E content lol. Basically the computer can't hit the richer commanded AFR because the fuel system/trims can't keep up. Many of us max out the fuel trims, but we can still hit the target AFR. 1 other member in the meth thread had the same issue, but between his E content and meth, he has more safety cushion of a leaner AFR.
