Default Looking at a 2nd hand brand new JB4 for the e60 - 09-12-2021, 08:22 AM

Seller doesnít know if itís the G4 or g5 board, was purchased ~6 years ago and never installed.

Whatís the best way to tell? Also is it absolutely necessary to run G5?

Edit: more info

I currently have an MHD Flasher and am 100% stock. Will plan to go FBO minus *** on 91 pump gas only. 112k mi on the car and no waste gate rattle or smoke, etc so hoping to run the stock turbos until replacement needed. Not sure if what to get next, but plan on keeping twins (perhaps upgraded OEM replacements).

JB4 pictured on the right, case looks smaller than what is currently sold

I'd recommend buying new, can't tell by that picture and no warranty or email support unless you are the original purchaser.
