The ECU is load based so will vary it's target boost based on intake temp, barometric pressure, and other factors. The JB4 target is added on top of that.

Thanks. I wish there was a way to get some more consistency...

The load based systems are designed for consistency of power output. For other platforms we have the JB4 implement an absolute boost target approach. But we're not there yet with the Honda in terms of development as it's a more advanced thing that also requires EWG control.

Any idea on how long something like that would take? I know you guys have lots of other projects/platforms in the works. Maybe a rough guesstimate 6 months to a year ? Hopefully less?

It's not so much a time issue as it is a data issue. I don't currently have a method to log flash boost target which is a necessary competent to add that functionality.

Some learned knock feedback here, but that isn't completely uncommon. You'll want to see if it learns back down over time, how it adjusts during longer WOT pulls, etc.

Alright thanks Terry! So Ill just keep an eye on it. The other day the car hit limp mode WOT in 4th. Not sure if this is related to the higher knock... For some reason I don't think the car is liking map 3 paired with the Injen SRI as ive been told on other forums the Injen intake is known for having bad fuel trim issues and being really crappy although I constantly monitor it via the JB4 app and its always on point? Running Map 1 now so hoping it readjust and the car doesent limp mode again. I have no stored codes on the JB4 reader either idk if the ECU is clearing them or what. Will continue to play around with it and might pull the intake off Monday and go back to the stock box and see how the Jb4 runs on stock setup.

If you get a fault code should be able to read that later and see what it is.. Strange it wasn't there when you went to read it.
