Does Map 0 still log or does it totally disable everything?

only just saw your post. I had given up on this, but would be great to see photos as I just had my annual service last week and would like to get rid of the wire in the door well.

Moved from an Infiniti Q60 Red Sport to 2020 SQ5. Got my JB4 today and after an hour install I took it out for its first run. After the engine warmed up, man this thing runs. I thought the car was fast before but it is a huge improvement. Cannot wait to see how much I like it over the next few days.

It’s been awhile since I checked in here, I just updated my firmware and wanted to verify that map 3 is fine for 93 octane. Can you run map 4 on 93 octane or do you need a booster?
My car is a 2018 rs5

George @ Burger said map 3 for 93. Just installed it really wakes the car up.

You good with map 3 on 93.
On RS5 it doesnt seem to manage with 93 due to higher intake temps due to the water charge cooler.

So for map 4 what do you recommend? What brand and or how much is needed to safely use it. Like I said Iím running 93. Also any links to see what gains were made with the JB4 now that itís been out awhile? As a heads up I recently took my car in for service and everything was good.

For map 4 you need to do a mix of E85, around 5 gal and the rest 93 or get the octane up to around 96 or so blending some race fuel.

I understand that other tuners can permanently turn off the auto start/stop which is super annoying and sometimes dangerous. Is this something the JB4 can be setup to do?

Not a feature we offer currently. Maybe down the road.

What are people seeing for a stock B9 RS5 w/ the JB4 using 93 octane? Assume Map 3? What about mixing fuel and running Map 4? Thanks!

In the WMI section there is a option for passive delete that needs to be clicked.
I would run logs in map 4 and we can see how things look.

Only the one boost sensor is slightly in a different location on the pre throttle charge pipe. Its the one that says multicoloured below.

Do people leave their JB4s installed when they go to the dealer for simple things like oil changes or recalls? Want to keep the warranty so rather not have any questions come up but also don't want to uninstall/install every time. About to walk out and put mine on the RS5!

I did yesterday so waiting to hear back. I also scheduled a dealership appt to get it checked out so I will need to remove the jb4.

question, all i need to do to remove it is clear the codes, set to map 0, turn the car off and lock it then unplug everything? Is there anything else i need to do to it before taking it in?
