Optional map changing, datalogging and updates are done using the BMS data cable or JB4 Mobile REV3 bluetooth kit.

Map guide:

Map0 - JB4 disabled
Map1 - 2psi peak 91 octane
Map2 - 3psi peak 91/93 octane
Map3 - 4psi peak 93 octane, race gas, or ethanol blend
Map4 - 6psi peak ethanol blend or race gas
Map5 - 8psi peak ethanol blend, race gas, CPI required
Map6 - User adjustable by RPM map using settings on user adjustment page. Setting of 5.0 would request 5psi over stock at that specific engine speed.
Map7 - Progressive WMI integrated map, boost profile under WMI flow adjustable on WMI page.
Map8 - Low boost VALET map COMING SOON

JB4_PORSCHE_718_5:

1) Corrected issue with boost targets being scaled higher than intended in v4.

JB4_PORSCHE_718_4:

1) Revised top end boost and other mapping changes.

JB4_PORSCHE_718_3:

1) Revised boost scaling in app
2) Revisions to map4 & map5

JB4_PORSCHE_718_911.2_1:

1) Added additional logging channels for bank2 AFR, bank2 fuel trims, intake air temperature, high fuel pressure, and more.

718_1: Initial firmware.



How to update firmware:

For firmware updates if having issues we suggest you turn off WiFi, change upload timeout to 25, and set your phone next to JB4 box under the hood.

I’ve installed mine. Need some help understanding which map is which. Also the Bluetooth is not connecting to the the gauges. It will for a moment, but then goes to zero. Two gauges will work but doesn’t seem real time.

Had a customer connect the JB4 connections in the wrong spot limiting boost. Be sure rainbow patch is on the MAP sensor as shown!

Ordering mine now for my 718 GTS. Will be running a ******* ********. Do I need to use a specific map, or will I need an O2 Spacer?

Inside USA we can't provide any advice. Outside USA there is a passive delete option for those.

I just purchased it and will have it installed very shortly. Very excited. The dyno charts posted on the order page are for a base model running E26 fuel correct?

What are the power gains for each maps on regular 91/94 fuel?

I dyno'd my stock GTS on sunday. 91 degrees, 65% humidity, 700miles on the odometer. made 354hp/ 335torque.

I'm very curious about the base model since this is what I have, and everything seems to be about the 2.5

No we haven't done any higher maps yet, as Steve is continuing fuel development so we can determine how far we can safely push it.

Had it installed, have been running map 4 for around a month now, and 3 pretty agressive track days. The car performed wonderfully.

Had a cooling system fault on the last day, but temps didn't exceed normal ranges and once I cleared the codes they never came back.

Also curious about the O2 sensor. I'm in Canada and my next purchase is a ******* ********, would the tune take care of the CEL or would I have to erase the faults at every start?

Passive delete is an option for outside the USA work, should work but we've not tested it yet on the 718.

I will end up giving it a try I think. How about the boost spike issues some people are reporting without a tune?

Until I see a JB4 log of it it's hard to evaluate. If you have any tuning issues with them share the log and lets see what we can work out!

If i run map 4, how much E85 can i filled up? gallons wise combine with 91 gas

Start with something like an e20 blend. Maybe 3-4 gallons to a full tank of 91.

Log on the lower maps first and post the logs here so we can evaluate before moving up to map 4.

So would it be better to start off just with 91 map 2?

Then go from there with a blend?

Sorry, coming from an RS3 on FULL E85, the power is very much wanted on the 718
