any opinion on Octane Booster (NOS or Liqui Moly). do they really work? any tests done yet? we have a really hard time to find race gas 100 oct rm2 here on argentina.
by the way dyno numbers... 369whp map5 DCI-********* AWESOME (is that ok?)

+1 on the stealth gauge being on a little longer even longer for 2 seconds. maybe even 5 seconds.

+100 on max cool of some kind.

P.s. tntman, NOS octane booster with MMT def does work!

Not to inundate you with requests, but I'm at the perfect height where I can't see the turn signal lights on the cluster in my most comfortable position. Any way to have the shift light show in the area where temp and clock are at?

I think you may be pushing your friendship with Terry with that one.

I like this idea also

How do I enable the idrive auto on/off? Do i go to the settings tab and make Future Use=10 and then connect to the JB4? I have already upgraded to the new firmware and software. Thanks for the clarification.

It won't work for your car. You have a CCC iDrive module, this feature only works on CIC iDrive (09+)

Terry,

I just noticed that my timing is not displaying when in gauge hijack mode? I have tried every variation from Timing on fuel, Boost on fuel / Timing on Oil, etc, etc. Everything else displays correctly that Timing advance also logs correctly with my laptop and the JB4 interface. I am using interface 4/20 with FW 4/22.

Thanks!

-Jeff

Works fine for me. Timing only shows when > 60% throttle.

Ah, That makes sense. I haven't had timing initiated on the gauge until today and was just doing some part throttle runs, and probably didn't get quite to 60%, and if I did then I wasn't looking at the time.

Thanks!

I posted this pic at 1 Addicts and got a warning and it was removed within 20 minutes. Awesome image. Should be on the BMS Homepage.

OMFG! Is my impression when I FINALLY got the JB4 in. I would like to thank everybody here and Grant, and deffinantly Terry. So i've been procasinating about putting it in or sell it. When I finally got to it, it flew by soo quick and took me 32 minutes on my first try. I setted to map 5 Because Grant said he's going to teach me how to do everything else. So i took it for a drive and punched it and holy crap, i was shocked for the first time, like when i drove my big bro's C63amg with 602 horsepower. The shift light poped on right at 7k and i was again surprised that i didn't setted it up, but anyways to end this whole long paragraph, I would like to ask, whats next?! DCI? K&N Filters? I already got the ********* and do I need new intercooler or will this one hold up? THANKS!

Go DCI next, they are on sale at Burger for $95 right now!

Then go with the intercooler of your choice.

JB4 is installed and OMG OMG OMG

One question what do you mean in Map 4 with CAN is active and what are the benefits of setting the exhaust CANflap to open vs stock?

Canflap is sound only, no performance. Map 4 is like map 0, but with CAN active.

Everything is running strong. Boost gauge in gas spot works. Now for more go mods(: for some reason my 335is is sitting around 14-15 psi. We mostly have 93 down and here barely any 91. Dci is next on my list. Ya think it'll lift the psi?
