Hello, for all you fellow west coast Canadians I have some news. Shell has just announced that they are going to test there 93 with up to 10% ethanol at a few locations in Vancouver area. They are testing to see if it’s viable to bring it to our market. And from local people testing it so far seems that it’s by far more superior then our previous best that was chevron 94. (Which isn’t truly 94 and has no E content)
For the locations you can contact me on IG one.mean.q but as of now there are only two. They are trying to branch out and allow every shell station to carry it assuming that they sell the quantities they want. Hope this helps but I tried a higher map and logged and it did me well to helped a good bit!

This is map 4 on Shell 93 on the west coast. Itís only about 3.5/5 shell and the rest is chevron 94
Switching now hopefully to 93 with 10% E as soon as they make it viable at all shells locally.
From what I can see the ign timing climbs and doesnít drop to low. Only when shifting I see it hits 0, which Iíve heard is normal. Any feedback though would be appreciated.

I do, but I want to refill with it completely again to keep running it for longer then 2 logs. sense that tank wasn’t full 93.
Also here’s the log but I took two that night and idk why but my Jb4 merged them together so two logs are in one of you can see where they split

You know my JB4 started merging logs several months ago. At the same time it started giving me "Best Zero to Sixty" times on each log that displays at the bottom of the menu when you choose - Graph, Email, Rename, Preview. I really like this feature - do you see it on yours?
Regarding the logs, I always pull the log data into excel so it is very easy to see the individual pulls, and where they start and end. I was excited to see your 1st pull, but seemed on the 2nd the car struggled with timing again. Like you said, maybe a fresh, full tank of just the Shell gas is needed. The logs are definitely an improvement over the Chevron stuff though.

Have you done any hard zero to sixty runs while logging? It will only register it if you are running a full zero to sixty under full throttle (or close to full throttle).

Nah Iíve never tried that. Iíll get the chance to gas up tomorrow night and take a good map 5 log. If itís not wet Iíll try 0-60

Looks decent, but probably the boost limit on that fuel as your timing drops a bit below 5 through the mid RPM range. Guessing you are running 91 octane?

What a difference in performance from map 2.
I let off the throttle after shifting to 4th gear the AFR stayed around 25 while cruising though

Canít really tell, you need to do a wot pull in 3rd all the up to red line to get the best read. On 93 you should have no problem running map 2 in my opinion.

Im from CA as well, your best bet with out having to go E30 like I did was 91 with VP racing booster. I was able to run map 3 on that fuel, also logs are best when done in 3ed gear from 2k rpms to red line.

Crap is that not what the logs reflect? I shifted up to 3rd manually, then accelerated to about just under 6,500 then shifted up and tapered off. I can get a re run in if I need to go higher today.

You can use my last pull as a comparison. I like freeway on ramps with long entries. Lol i do up shift after red line tho. Somethingís will be very different on the logs as my Q is full bolt on.

Sorry man I am not the best at reading logs. That's why I am posting here hoping an expert can take a look at my logs or else I guess I could compare your maps to mine. I also did this pull onto the freeway as well, maybe the difference is I am basically stock minus a remark muffler delete vs full bolt-ons.

when you are in 3rd and at wot it looks good. The areas that I look at are the AFR's, Avg_ign and Ing_1 as well as boost. those are the important numbers anyway. I not sure how far up my map 2 and 3 pulls are but they are done on 91 with VP booster. That maybe gave me a low grade 93, Fuel for us is our biggest problem which is why I made the move to E30 mix. I would put some booster in refill and hit up map 2.

Sounds good, would that just be to generate a more powerful map for performance and to analyze? Or would you reccomend that for better daily driving as well due to the log I produced not being that much of a performance difference?

Just trying to understand the goal of rerunning it with some extra booster and Map 2. I have fuel wires with my JB4 so can def try that sometime soon and reupload. I have heard tho to start adding in blends I should get a flex fuel kit converter before mixing fuel...

E30 is the max you can run on the stock fuel system, Full E85 which here tests at 90% would add alot of power. like the Red Alpha kits or if BMS has one, im not sure need a full on flash tune.

Got it, thanks for the knowledge! Overall tho does the Map 1 look healthy? Gonne get some reruns in soon on Map 1 and Map 2 hitting redline each time.
