Default Questions on Vp racing race fuels - 07-18-2018, 06:53 AM

Could anyone who have enough clearance answer the question ?
which of the following ( ms100, ms103 , vp vintage ) or which are suitable fuels for my highly modified n54 335 xi ?

Specification sheets attached.

Ms109 is what I usually use if I don't have e85 available. Ms103 is prob the best bet if you can't get that.

Just make sure you don't use leaded, of course.

Also be aware of oxygenated vs non-oxygenated fuel, especially if you're switching from one to the other and are close to the limit on fuel delivery.

I believe it is oxygenated. I don't know if I would use that gas for a daily, I can't afford it LOL.

I can easily afford as I am the sole distributor of Turkey but it doesn’t solve any of my problem. LOL

The issue with the oxygenated is only that it is less dense, and would require more volume of fuel being delivered. Thus my comment that if you are near the limits of your fuel system, and you switch from non-oxygenated fuel to oxygenated, you could go over that line of not having enough fuel delivery without realizing it.
I don't think there is anything 'bad' about oxygenated, per se.

Seriously - why aren't YOU the one telling US all about fuels, then?

No worries, here to help, just giving you a hard time

As long as the race gas is unleaded, you can run it all the time if you want.

Leaded gas won't immediately ruin anything - you could probably run many gallons of it before you start seeing issues. However, it is certain it WILL happen. And the exhaust becomes a lot more poisonous.
