Default Power cut in higher RPM range - 01-19-2020, 08:09 PM

Under full throttle I feel the power cut and surge in higher RPM ranges. Iíve searched here and bimmerpost and have found one or two threads of others experiencing this, but so far for no definitive answer. Iím hoping someone can give me some insight about what is happening, or at least peace of mind that nothing is wrong. Log attached.

Is the JB4's fuel pressure connector attached?

I left part of the harness disconnected because the instructions indicated it was for 320. I took care of it this morning and logged a new run. Didnít experience the power fluctuation, but only went full-throttle once.

My first guess here is knock or timing pull. Does it come up on map1? What fuel is being used?

I haven’t given map 1 a try yet. I’ll post a log as soon as I get a chance. The gasoline is Shell 93 octane.

Didnít experience anything out of the ordinary during the map 1 log run. Attached for review. Same fuel, though the ambient temp is about 15-20 degrees colder.
