Default Newbie needs help with stage 5 user adjustments - 09-18-2020, 06:59 PM

Hey all! Im trying to learn as much as possible but could really use some help with user adjustments for stage 5.

I did a log, 2nd to 3rd to 4th WOT.

My setup:

Jb4 stage 5, mhd backend, intercooler, intake, charge *****, exhaust, mid *****, ngk plugs at .22

I have spent a lot of time browsing and searching for everything, with this though it takes experience. Any input or advice is greatly appreciated!

Can you do a pull in 4th from 2k rpm to redline and upload the log?

I take it IAT is in fahrenheit not celsius?

Something i cant see in the logs that i would like to see is knock or timing correction / cylinder correction.

Iat is in fahrenheit, in regards to knock or timing correction etc im honestly not sure what youre speaking of lol. Sorry brotha! Thank you again for helping me out!

That's OK, knock is detonation or pre-ignition. Too much equals bye bye motor.
Knock is avg ign in the logs which is at an acceptable level.

Sorry buddy, works been abit mad.

I would richen up the fuel mixture a little from 2400 rpm upwards to get trims a little lower and would not add any timing advance with how much knock you are seeing.

I appreciate the help. Unfortunately i have zero idea what that means. Ultimately i just wanted to know how i may adjust my user settings. The bias, wastegate position, boost safety etc.
