This is an old thread. Updates are posted to the BEF thread, JB4 thread, etc.

If using 4/4 (Flash only) on a N55 Harness B JB4, what is the equivalent of the white connector? Is it the boost solenoid (Blue) that needs to be reconnected to to stock?

What Id like to do is try MHD out without having to remove the JB4. But I see my self in the long run using JB4 with a BEF.

For N55 you put blue solenoid patch only to stock.

Just flashed MHD stage 2+ 93 Oct, went to 4/4 (Flash Only) and then set to 0/4 (Map 4). I did this instead of Map 0 because I left the boost solenoid connected to JB4. With this setup I am not creating boost although my boost target is 18psi.. Any ideas as to what could be the cause of generating zero boost?

**EDIT** I did some tinkering and found that if i switch back to 4/3 (Default) and run Map 4 (OEM tune, in this case MHD flash), I am now ABLE to generate boost.

Terry@BMS
Is there anything I should be aware of when running in this setup?

Also, why was 4/4 not working? I assume a huge misunderstanding on my part but feel it could be a bug.

If you have an N55 this is the wrong thread for you. If running 4/4 on N55 boost solenoid must be reverted to stock.

Will Bms meth kit still flow with white sub connector removed and 4/4 mode? Also is map 4 or 0 supposed to be used in flash only mode?

Meth will still turn on as long as map is > 0. On 4/4 all maps act the same other than 0.
