2007 335i 6MT

After an issue with some mosfets on my MSD80, now switched to MSD81, I finally completed successful MHD BEF. JB4 installed, set to BEF mode, map 1(firmware to latest on JB4).

Only "mods" are charge pipe/bov, and CAI.

My issue....after the BEF, my gas pedal feel is totally different. Like I'm having to relearn to drive it. The power seems to come on way too soon for normal driving, not so much that I can't get used to it, just way more touchy than I'd like. For instance, 1/4 pedal feels more like 1/2 throttle used to. Is there a way to get a stock like feel back to the pedal?

I just installed all of these parts (listed below). What settings on my JB4 should I change to optimize the build before I start running endless logs? I am new to this and did all of the work myself (with the help/lack of help from DIY videos) but I don’t want to mess my car up when I start adjusting settings in my JB4.

2008 E90 335i
JB4 (map 5) + MHD BEF
TD04 19t turbo
2 inch inlet/outlet
Full charge pipe upgrade
Oil catch can
Upgraded PCV
Index 12 injectors
******* DP
Muffler Delete
7.5 IC
Fuel-It stage 2+ bucketless LPFP (install this weekend)
Transcooler (as soon as part gets here)
Trans pan and filter replaced
Fluids all fully drained and replaced.

Default Evap Readiness Possible with BMS BEF? - 09-19-2020, 12:07 PM

Could someone please confirm whether I need to flash to stock from the hybrid PI map in order to show readiness for evap?

I am on JB4 Map 0, but I'm not sure if I also need to flash back to stock for the BEF.

I can't seem to find this info by searching. I know evap takes a while to show readiness, but I want to make sure I'm on the right BEF for it to eventually do so.

Does anyone know the process for doing a bef and including flex fuel? I currently have mhd 2+ flex fuel using the motiv box, but I want to run the jb4 as well. Is there a certain .bin file to use? I also saw some xdf files that had to do with flex fuel I'm just not sure what the process is. I'm new to jb4 but I think it will be very helpful as I will be doing port injection soon.
