I did not. I got a DO DC-30 instead. I'm pretty sure Rob got another one and it was fine.

So just for my own understanding...

The DVC-30 means max boost of 30psi and the DCV-100 means max boost of 100psi?

They also seem to have 2bar, 2.5bar and 3bar options. I guess that's just a Metric way of representing boost?

The dvc30 has a vacuum boost attachment. The others require a tmap sensor. Bars are a pressure reading. It's around 14.5 psi. Yes, it is non SI metric.

The dvc 30 is in psi. I'm assuming the dvc100 is as well.

So that would be a tmap sensor in addition to the tmap sensor that's already installed at the rear of the charge pipe right?

Wonder if it would be possible to splice them together? :-/

Just ordered the DVC30.

I have no idea. I didn't look into it. I just called and asked them which one to get. The boost line is tiny. It's not the size of a standard vacuum line.

I can post some pictures tonight of my install. I pulled it out to reinstall the AN fittings and never pit it back in. I guess now is as good a time as any to do it.

Is it the FSB Controller or Methanol Solenoid that you need? (Running JB4)

you need both...the selonoid is controlled by the FSB.

you need:

250 psi selonoid
BMS FSB

Instead of purchasing the stainless steel line set that includes an additional stainless steel line and check valve, wouldn't it be cheaper just to purchase the pieces individual?

Stainless Steel Kit - $160

Seperate:
14' SS Line - $58
8" SS Line - $12
Nozzle Holder - $10
3/8 NPT to 4an (for one side of pump) - $3
3/8 NPT to 1/4 push (for other side of pump) - $7
Grand Total - $90

Then obvioulsy I would purchase the solenoid with 4an fittings, the pump, a nozzle, JB4 FSB, and tank with plastic line to go to the pump.

Am I missing anything?

the price on the stainless steel line is only that cheap if you by a full kit, other wise it is $159.00 unless they changed something.

Did you purchase your 3" line from them? I emailed them about a shorter line earlier this morning but they claim 8" is as short as they can go.

Also, I am out of town so don't have my car with me. I have the older solendoid from the BMS WW kit. Does anyone know if I can just order two 1/8" NPT to 4an fittings to attach to the BMS coolingmist solenoid? I'm not sure if the current fittings are removable off the top of my head. I thought they were though.

Man, wish I had seen this thread sooner. I'm having all kinds of flow issues with the "other" kit, and I think it's a tank issue at this point. Over weeks of troubleshooting, I've replaced the pump and wires and have repeatedly purged and cleared the line. It seems that stuff is just an inferior design that really isn't fully compatible with the JB4 FSB setup. It just won't consistently deliver the pressure needed to reach full meth additive. I'm going with a DO race tank, and I'll post if that fixes my problem. Sorry, but if that's the issue, everyone deserves to know of the problem to save some grief.

I have had the Devils Own race tank now for a week. Just as it did for the original poster, it fixed my low meth pressure problem instantly. My JB4 says meth pressure is maxed out. This tank is of so much higher quality than the Coolingmist quick mount 1.5 gallon tank it replaced. No air in the lines now.

I would advise buying a Devils Own kit instead of a Coolingmist kit. Not much price difference at all, but a world of difference in the tank quality.

the only issue I have had with the race tank wich is very minor is the flange will bend a bit making the lid stick....fix in 30 seconds. This tank has been great!

I had same issue, other than that I am happy with my DO setup.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, i have a devils own dvc30 kit with boost port controller, I want to ignore the controller and instead use my fsb to control the system with the jb, I have the ffg:
Trunk mount tank,
300psi devils own pump,
Lines already installed,
300psi devils own solenoid,
DO7 injector,
BMS fsb

Will the wiring of the fsb be the same as per the BMS instructions with the coolingmist kit?
Does the green wire from the fsb still connect to the second solenoid wire to provide ground or does the solenoid get grounded to the chassis physically?

I intend using full map 3 control and failsafes, will this solenoid be compatible?

Thanks for the help!

Wiring should be the same. Green wire is ground for solenoid. Not sure how much current the DO pump draws.
Hope it is around 12 amps. Also hope solenoid does not draw too much current.
