Better tires and a Z1 LSD will fix that problem...

On the tires front - LSD is being considered after the WMI upgrade - I am running Dunlop 245/40RF19’s (factory) and am looking at upping them to 255/40’s - but which tire is the question. Suggestion anyone ?

Went with Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ 255/40 here shortly after buying the ride last year, been very impressed with the upgrade. Pilot sports have been my go to for the last 10 years, the best, economical, AND they still allow for light winter if encountered.

The added power from the JB4 overwhelmed my OEMs immediately.

If not much else is wrong, the front bumper is a fairly easy replacement... had mine off recently. Maybe polish your radiators while you're in there! More cooling for JB4!

I did exactly what you did, minus hitting the curb luckily (by inches,) when i test drove my first 2WD RS400... Salesgirl was like "turn off the traction control and really hit it" (she was a lil firecracker!)

I wasn't ready for the surge of power once it spooled up mid left turn... lesson learned! Also, I've been AWD since i can remember... you just get used to mashing throttle 24/7 and not worrying.

Probably a bad angle but the fender also needs some TLC. If it were just the bumper I would have grabbed a Sport bumper and gotten to work.

But yes, our stories sound similar, traction control was off and it happened FAST.. happy the headlight and wheels are safe, this should be a quick fix for the repair shop

Good long pull with no issues with traction control. No timing drop except for around 5200 where the factory timing table appears to drop. AFR looks good. Looks reasonable to me but I'm not Terry

I'm waiting for warmer weather as well. I'm running map 6, but would like to try map 7 and compare, but concerned when it gets hot I'll have to drop back.

Terry, could you please take a look at both logs attached? I got a bunch of lights on the dashboard during both pulls. I get a check engine (P0101), traction lights, and the proximity sensors. There are 2 warnings on the gauge cluster. All lights go away after turning the car off and on except the check engine. I ended up deleting the code.

2019 Q50 sport, 900 miles, both 4th gear pulls, 93 octane, fuel wires.

You're on a race gas/E85 mix map. Drop down to map2 and log again.

Log check please, map 6 at the track. I can feel and tell it's cutting throttle at the top of 1st. I've heard this is common to prevent over rev.
