In case you missed it, they now have a heat exchanger thst is $299 rather than $399. Stated to be the same exact item, the $299 one is made in China while the $399 product is made in the United States.

The $299 one also says "It's a direct bolt in installation and is made in the USA." Why exactly did I spend the extra $100?????

I think it says that only because they copied and pasted the description. Terry already confirmed that the cheaper heat exchanger was made outside of the US with the same parts and quality and yielded nearly identical testing results

That's a bit frustrating honestly.

Just waiting for a couple bits to come in before we widely release the kit.

For someone who will probably only be running 91 octane 97% of the time (I have access to E85 if I get bored).

Do I really need the fuel wires? I am so tempted now after seeing the 2019 Luxe put down 420whp with E30 LOL

I just leased a 2019 Luxe and have a JB4 coming already.

based on my limited research I assume the jb4 stock +3 map is best for someone who runs 91 octane?

Make sure it's a JB4 you're updating and not a Stage1. And then try holding phone closer to blue tooth kit under the hood to see if that helps.

The fuel wires are optional for those who are concerned with every last 10hp. They will help power on 91 octane but with the extra install effort certainly aren't intended for everyone.

For $30 and a fairly easy install (in my opinion this was an easy job), it's worthwhile. I also don't see why you can't go up to +5 or +6 with 91 octane. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

Did anyone ever post a pic of the clip clearly identified on the passenger side wire harness?

FYI - IF the JB4 failed to load the firmware then it maybe currently without firmware - thus causing the Christmas Lights on the dashboard. Once you get the JB4 firmware successfully updated - you can clear the codes from the JB4 app. Remember - the car is not turned on (but in aux mode so everything is powered up w/o the engine running) when you are doing JB4 firmware upgrades.
