Default BMW n55 (435i) stage 3 pump install - 10-07-2018, 03:29 PM

Hey there so my buddy is installing a stage 3 pump for me on my BMW 435i. Already has port injection, upgraded fuel lines, the whole nine.. so heís asking me if Instead of using hobb switch. Where do you wire the ground trigger wire? Apparently heís saying the instructions that came with it doesnít say, neither does any pdf on fuel itís wensite. Which Iím really shocked by, maybe he is mistaken who knows. But for now I just want the job done so I can get the car back. Heís also asking that There is a brown wire in pin 7 of the jb4 db25 connector. Do I just tap into that wire ?.. someone please let me know it would be most appreciated thanks a lot

If you have a BMS PI controller there is a positive trigger wire he can connect to.
It's not a GROUND trigger, so make sure he knows the difference.

Hey man forgot to get back to you. I have installed the new pump and Hobbs switch everything is running great. Itís only been one day since the full install. Wasnít misfiring at all up until my gas was near empty. I havenít filled up yet so Iím hoping when I do that later the misfire goes away. I was so happy up until the misfire happen but once again itís maybe because I was so low on gas. Hereís a log of the first 3rd gear pull with stage 3 pump and full e85

I just wanted to add these three logs. Only difference from them is the fuel bias setting. (I did not change anything else)..Which by the way works so much better when the fuel bias is higher. So as of now my fuel bias is 50 all the way, it drives and pulls much better with MUCH less misfire. However it still happens especially 0-80 launch.. Can I go higher than 50 for fuel bias? Maybe like 55-60? Something like that. And what about FOL, And FF, what can I change those settings to..I feel like this time weíll finally tuck this issue away for good with proper settings and such. Thanks so much!!

Looks very good to me, you should have FOL at 0. You can go higher on fuel bias but trims are fine. Get me another log with FOL at 0
