Can anyone do this or me remotely? Or maybe give me an idea of what i am doing wrong? I did it manually and nothing seems to happened. I am not getting 2AAE i am getting a current too high code maybe it is the same but i'm not sure. Anything helps

So does this prevent the ekp module from being burned out or just suppress the code on the car? My car has this come up (CC-ID 309), if it just suppresses the code I’ll leave it for now.

I believe it raises the voltage ceiling so the code is avoided.

Is there any negative effects to not coding it out? Like if I leave it the way it is will I blow my ekp with all the faults itís throwing

Same. I need this done for my Walbro 525 pump. I have already upgraded the wire from fuel pump to ekp. Looking to program ekp for higher voltage and update to 25a fuse.

Can any one in the NYC/ Long Island area help?

I have read all the posts on here and still cant figure out what I need to do to adjust the max fuel pump current.
I used NCS expert to read the ekp module and get the nettodat and .trc files. Then opened the nettodat with NCS dummy. It is easy to find the Max fuel pump motor current on ncs dummy but I have no idea what I need to change to raise the current.

Can anyone help me out with this?
The car is a 2008 335i with a n54 and the module is a EKPM60_2.C03

If you try to pull too much current could fry the EKP and wind up stranded. What pumps are you guys triggering the warning with? A single Walbro?

I have a walbro 450 part of the stage 2 upgrade from fuel it. Everytime I turn off the car I get a fuel pump warning on Idrive and the car on a lift icon in cluster.
My understanding is that these pumps pull more current and that sets off the warning. Recoding the fuel pump module to accept more max current should make the warning go away but either way the pump is pulling more current than the the OEM one.

I have a stage 2 with a single Walbo 450, I haven't ever triggered a code yet. Maybe F difference vs E?
