Default Log Review - 09-11-2018, 04:46 PM

Just looking for a little insight into how everything is running. Fairly new to this platform and still getting it all sorted.. Looks like it pulled a little timing at about max boost, the fuel trims spiked and it looks to be overshooting target a bit.
Set up... Running map5, DCI, FMIC,CP,BOV and 93 Octane. Also about 85 degrees F and 86% humidity..
Thanks in advance..

Couple of things:

First welcome

- proper logs are usually 3rd gear 2k to redline WOT traction control fully off.
- Enable 6cyl logging under your user adjustments
-May want to consider the PUMP BEF that will help with the trims

Dave,

I finally had time to go drive the car and run a proper log. (attached) Any input is greatly appreciated.

Hey,

Couple things- boost looks ok, could use some fine tuning.

LPFP looks about maxed- dips into the 50s

AFR looks a bit lean for my test at 14.x:1 after hitting target- Id load the BEF asap

Appreciate it!

I will go ahead and get the BEF sometime this week.
After getting the BEF would it be alright to just run MAP 2 with the current setup and 93octane? Or should I log on MAP 1 and if it looks ok then change to MAP 2?
(currently using MAP 5)

running DCI, FMIC and 93 ocante. Not that it matters but CP and BOV also..

Last question is how does the timing look? Seems have quite a few variances.

Thanks!

Log map 1 first & we can go to map 2 if everything looks clean.

Timing - I usually look at ign_1 @ WOT- in that regard it looked ok.

Default Loaded BEF and logged - 09-23-2018, 02:08 PM

Alright so I loaded the pump BEF and ran a few logs.

9-22 log was after driving in the mountains for an hour or two and temps around 86F..
9-23 log Temp was same 86F and with maybe a half hour of driving...
Looks like the LPFP fuel pressure keeps dropping at the end of the RPM range. Please review and let me know what you think.

You are correct, your LPFP is about maxed- you need to upgrade if you want to start pushing things / have a bit more fun

Overall minus the LPFP- for the most part the logs look clean, some noise on cyl 2 & 4, nothing alarming + would probably go away with a little more octane.

The short: shoot me a PM Or e-mail: dave@fuel-it.com & we can get you the right LPFP upgrade for your current needs & future goals.

Thanks checking it all out. After looking at the logs myself I figured upgrading the pump is the next move.

Ill definitely be shooting you an email here shortly to get a fuel pump sorted out.

Thanks,
