Ok, so I am installing my new PI kit. My question for now is, how are you guys routing the wires from the fuel pumps up to the engine compartment??

OK, so I just finished installing the PI kit and the BMS PI controller. Two things,

1) On the PI controller, there is an additional yellow wire "thicker than the one that goes into pin 9. What is this wire for?

2) How do I remove the blue wire that is in pin 15 for my Meth setup?

Cancel, I just cut the blue wire and connected the white wire to it. I guess what I really want to know is, why can I just leave the blue wire for the Meth in place and tap in the white wire? What kind of issues would this cause?

1) 2nd fuel pump or WMI pump trigger
2) You don't, you cut and splice it

OK, thank you Terry.
The second fuel pump is wired in from the battery with a relay and an inline fuse. This harness then goes up to a pressure sensor into the charge pipe. I posted some logs of a few runs I took last night. Can you please take a look at them. I noticed on one, my fuel trims were maxed out! Also,

1) How do I go about connecting this yellow wire? I have the newer version of the FSB installed.

2) How would I know if the second pump in coming on or the PI injectors?

Make sure you have the right firmware loaded + the correct PI flash. After that is confirmed, your FB settings are all “0” those need to be set to 50 across the board

OK, so what would be the correct firmware? What would be the correct PI flash?

I went ahead and made FB all 50. My FOL was set to 95, made the adjustments per Payams installation to 0.

I just wish there would be a simplified step by step walk through from start to finish of what needs to be done when installing a "single turbo kit with the correct firmware and same goes for the port injection. This platform is outstanding and the JB4 is a winner! But it just seems sometimes that the information is all over the place and when we all have to search, it just gets overwhelming with too much chatter from too many different places. We just need 1 location for jb4 ST setup with the BEF and one for the PI because I didn't know I had to basically turn on the PI by adjusting the Fuel Bias. I would gladly partake in this instructional write up. I believe more people would be interested in the JB4 and Burger /Fuel-it's business once they see how easy it can be to set these systems up. Sorry if this is long winded but I have been left to my own vises due to my old tuner flaking out and separating from his old partner, leaving his clients to fend for our selves. And thus is OK, I love to learn new things and be able to pass on this knowledge to other car enthusiasts. This is what the game should be about.

We actually have a thread / sticky dedicated to single turbo setup. You were just looking at the wrong section I think. Everything you were looking for is in the n54 dedicated section, stickied at the top. I provided the link for JB4 & ST setup, you’ll also see port injection setup & MHD BEF maps etc stickys

One thing Dave.
I read through the link you sent. But I'm not seeing any thing on setting up the PI? I mean like the user adjustments after the PI is installed. That would be a coo read no?

Correct the link I sent was for ST setup.

You need to read the sticky about PI setup
