hmm that is low but i guess as long as you dont have long starts and your hpfp pressure during WOT looks good then you should be ok?

My car was shutting off when I came to a stop the other day, had a half engine. Stopped the day after. Now it's starting to misfire on cyl 6

yeah then probably hpfp is too old.
they are only semi-hard to change. it's not too bad like 6 out of 10 IMO.

430 to 480 is too low, I'd log HPFP and see what it is under load.

Can't. It'll misfire under any load

Sounds like your hpfp is pretty much done.

The car needs about 600-700 psi to idle

Just be careful until you get it fixed

Well make sure your getting at least 70psi of low pressure fuel at idle. But also the car should thow a fuel pump code if it's that bad. Sounds like a bad hpfp though.

swapped the injector and it was roasted. Thinking that not enough fuel is getting back there. Now the lpfp is putting out a correct 5bar but the hpfp is still fluctuating between 478-725. It will dip down to 480ish, then jump up to 580ish, then down to 480, then to 700, etc.

Heres a lovely pic of the injector and coil

Mine just started going from 700 - 2000 - 700 like a wave, after letting the car idle for a bit. Anyone ever see this?

Enjoying the new tables discovered and the XDF progress made? if you'd like. Every bit is appreciated!

2000 at idle?? How is that even possible? Sounds like it could possibly be a bad sensor..

Not sure, but it is definitely increasing / decreasing pressure as I can hear the change in pitch in the injectors, that corresponds w/ the rise and fall of logged rail pressure.

Did the new injectors fix your issue?
