Default F90 M5 JB4 Ms109 10.2@137 Record :) - 03-07-2019, 09:45 AM

Hey guys,

Had a chance to work with one of our customers out in Florida. With the limited time we still managed to break a world record run of 10.2@137. We were very consistent with our times as well.

Car still has some more in it! We could have probably broken 9's last night, but we'll let the rest catch up first

You have a dragy to compare to those track times?!? That would be interesting to see.

These new M5ís are a beast! I have a 2014 550i xdrive and got that because I wanted the awd. 10.2 with just JB4 is reduculous...kills my 11.05 just JB4 run in my 550ix. Now that the f90 is awd from factory there is no comparison! I want one so bad. Too bad Iím so deep into my ride I canít really stop now!!

That's crazy... F10 needed MT's and line-lock to get to this level.

Such is life in the fast lane! If you reflash the DME you can richen it up but end up stressing out the fuel system in the process.

Excellent results. Has anyone tried MS109 or any other high octane fuels aside from E85 on the S55? I would like to see what an aggressive high octane tune would do on the stock turbos with other supporting mods....

It likely won't do anything more than allow the DME to not retard any timing. You are not going to make power with ultra high octane unless you take advantage of its knock suppression capabilities.

Yeah that's why I said "an aggressive high octane tune".....

Everyone runs E85, but the problem with that is E85 requires more volume to be pumped versus gasoline. With higher octane fuel you could get the knock resistance without sacrificing flow..
