ISO_23 Notes

1) Made a tweak to the DCT (335is) FutureUseB = 5 downshift setting. With FUB=5 active JB4 will run factory torque levels upon downshifting until the next upshift.
2) Minor tweak to map 0 correct reported bug when changing BMS flash maps via OBDII port.

Is the ISO_23 still the same as ISO_22 but with these new 335is features, and should we run ISO_23 if our cars are not 335is?

If you want to activate the feature set FUB = 5.

For us noobies what does this do and what differences/advanatges does this offer over not having it. If this is a uopgarde is it more for racing or street smoothness?

It's just an option intended for DCT transmission cars who experience excessive clutch slippage during downshifts.

I'm sure it's in this massive thread somewhere..., but can someone point me in the right direction as to where/ what you have to change to log the Low pressure fuel pump output? Also what the future use options all do would be helpful as well. I have JB4 G4 PNP if it matters..

Thanks.

Nope not really necessary unless you have the BMS flash or have an "IS" like you stated.

If you guys don't know what to set your 10 and 12 menu at just leave them at default. Your car will work. When you have free time read the update notes and forums until you figure out what you should do to find your sweet spot with them. No one can tell you where to set it on a forum, the adjustments are too subtle and car specific.

If you don't have DCT or a BMS flash then 23 is the same as 22. So it doesn't matter. When your car is running well check to see what Notes Terry posts for new firmwares and if nothing is there that seems like it will be beneficial to your car then don't change anything. (This applies to everyone). Don't upgrade just because there is a new firmware. If you're running well and don't want to be part of a beta (or maybe alpha) test where you need to log and talk to T then just wait for the glowing recommendations to come in for a firmware.

I'm not sure the software autodetects (you might have just been lucky) but if you've been running iso22 firmware and have had no problems then you 100% have a G5 iso.

The interface doesn't auto-detect whether you're running ISO or Integrated. I think he was talking about the drop down menu that you pick from for default settings when updating firmware. Unless you've touched that drop down menu, it sometimes defaults to G5 ISO. The only way to find out if you are integrated or ISO is to look at the date of the firmware in the user adjustment tab and it should be on the far right by the interface version/date.

ISO 22 does work with the BMS flash it just won't allow updates.
